1 Peter 2:3

Daily Inspiration:  1 Peter 2:3

1 Peter 2:3

"Did you not taste the goodness of the Lord?"

---- Mine have You not tasted Me and discovered that I am good all the time.  I have filled your mouth with the finest wheat and the sweetest honey from the comb.  You have found delight in all I  have done for you.  What is your response to my steadfast love for you?

Grant O my Beloved that I return love for love.  I know that this is impossible, for my love is so small and weak a thing, it is truly a smouldering wick whereas Your love for me is a fiery, blazing furnace.  Unite my puny love with that of the Father, the Holy Spirit and with Mary's for You, then I shall offer You a love that is worthy of You my Lord.

Jeremiah 20:10-13, Psalm 18:2-7, John 10:31-42

Daily Holy Mass Readings:   Jeremiah 20:10-13, Psalm 18:2-7,  John 10:31-42

 Jeremiah 20:10-13 ©
I hear so many disparaging me,
‘“Terror from every side!”
Denounce him! Let us denounce him!’
Jeremiah said:
All those who used to be my friends
watched for my downfall,
‘Perhaps he will be seduced into error.
Then we will master him
and take our revenge!’
But the Lord is at my side, a mighty hero;
my opponents will stumble, mastered,
confounded by their failure;
everlasting, unforgettable disgrace will be theirs.
But you, O Lord of Hosts, you who probe with justice,
who scrutinise the loins and heart,
let me see the vengeance you will take on them,
for I have committed my cause to you.
Sing to the Lord,
praise the Lord,
for he has delivered the soul of the needy
from the hands of evil men.
My Beloved, everything You had to undergo was prophesied long before the events took place.  Prophets through the ages as well as the Psalms tell with chilling clarity all that You had to undergo for the salvation of men.  This is why the Father has given You a Name that is above every other name and at this glorious Name, every knee will bow and every tongue will confess to the glory of the Father that You indeed are Lord!

Psalm 18:2-7
My Beloved this has always been my experience of You.  Every time I called, You have swiftly come to my aid and helped me.  i love You.  I lean on You.  I rely on You.  You rescue me from the snares of evil that lurks around to devour me.  You keep me safe.  Despite my weakness and sinfulness You love with with the fierce, protective love of a mother for her baby.  Thank You.
John 10:31-42 ©
As Lent draws to a close and reflecting on all the events of Your life leading up to Your Passion, the events are now gaining momentum as we contemplate the approaching of 'the hour' for which You came into the world.  You now speak plainly of Your mission.  The Father sent You to reveal that God's nature is Love and that the Father is committed to snatching us from the jaws of death.  We will receive new life in You and through You.  Grafted on to You my Beloved we too are a new creation in You and co-heirs with You to all that belongs to You.  Such magnanimity, such generosity is only possible by a God whose Name is Love.  Thank You!!!.

Genesis 17:3-9, Psalm 105:4-9, John 8:51-59

Daily Holy Mass Readings:  Genesis 17:3-9, Psalm 105:4-9, John 8:51-59

Genesis 17:3-9

---- Mine, I have bound Myself to you and yours in a Covenant of Love.  You are irrevocably Mine as I am Yours.  On My part, I shall not go back on My Word, nothing can destroy this bond of love, except sin, unrepented sin.

Psalm 105:4-9

Keep your eyes on Me and I will be You help and strength forever.

John 8:51-59

The Truth is anathema to those who would rather embrace a lie.  Grant that I may embrace Your Word O Eternal Word and grant me life in You forever.

2 Corinthians 2:12

Daily Inspiration:  2 Corinthians 2:2:12

2 CORINTHIANS 2:12
12 So I came to Troas to preach the Gospel of Christ, and the Lord opened doors for me.

The Good News is preaching You  my Beloved and it is more than speech, it is love that shows itself in action.  This work, this mission, is entrusted to me by You and so I need not be anxious; for it is You who will open the doors for me, all I need to do is to be ready to enter with You.

Daniel 3:14-20, 91-92, 95, Daniel 3:52-56, John 8:31-42

Daily Holy Mass Readings:  Daniel 3:14-20, 91-92, 95, Daniel 3:52-56,
                                                         John 8:31-42

Daniel 3:14-20, 91-92, 95

My Beloved, often the powerful seem kind yet when they are thwarted, or they perceive that we are not willing to fall into their clutches to be used by them, then their true nature is revealed.  Those who put their trust in princes will be disappointed and dismayed but those who trust in You my Lord, will be borne by You on eagle's wings.  Your mighty protection overshadows us and keeps us safe from all evil.

Daniel 3:52-56

My Beloved how foolish the world is to praise creatures and created things.  True joy, true exhiliration of soul comes from praising the Creator who does all things well.

John 8:31-42

My Beloved, often times we say we believe in You and yet we are not prepared to obey Your Word.  We cannot have it both ways - we are either for You or against You.  If we say we are Your disciples then our way of life must proclaim it to all around us.  You will have no part of a divided heart or a divided life, it is all or nothing .  If we muddy the Truth then it no longer is the truth but a lie and the father of lies is Satan but God is the Father of Truth.

Hebrews 7:2

DAILY INSPIRATION:  Hebrews 7:2

Hebrews 7:2

Let us note that the name Melchizedek means King of Justice, and that King of Salem means King of Peace.

KING OF JUSTICE &
KING OF PEACE

My Beloved who takes upon Himself our inquity and pays the price for our guilt because God's justice demands that justice must be served.  In return He gives us peace because He is the King of Peace and peace is His to give.

Numbers 21:4-9, Psalm 102:2-3, 16-21, John 8:21-300

Daily Holy Mass Readings:  Numbers 21:4-9, Psalm 102:2-3, 16-21, John 8:21-30

Numbers 21:4-9

Here again Lord I see how You became sin that kills in order to bring healing,.  You are the Sinless One and because of this it  was possible for You to satisfy Justice by nailing our sins on the Cross with You and emptying Your life in order that we may die to sin and recieve new life in You.

Psalm 102:2-3, 16-21

My Beloved grant me the courage I need to speak the Truth and offer Your counsel.  I am  coward Lord like Peter who denied You.  Given half a chance I will run away and hide rather than step up boldlylike Peter after Pentecost, and say what must be said.  Verse 19 reassures me that You will answer the prayers of the needy and will not despire their plea.  I AM NEEDY LORD and I am not ashamed to admit it to You.  HELP ME!!!!

John 8:21-30

Verse 24  "You will die in your sins unless you believe that I AM HE."

Can You speak any plainer than this my Beloved.  You speak with clarity and we can choose to either accept or reject it.  Salvation and peace are ours if we so desire.  It is a choice we each must make.  Choose life and live, choose death and die a death from which there is no rising again.

O Lord help me.  Let me not take the coward's way of silence.  Love is not love if it will not speak plainly of that which is often unpleasant to hear but which is necessary.

Isaiah 7:10-14, 8:10, Hebrews 10:4-10, Psalm 40:7-11, Luke 1:26-38

Daily Holy Mass Readings:  Isaiah 7:10-14, 8:10, Hebrews 10:4-10,
                                                         Psalm 40:7-11, Luke 1:26-38

Isaiah 7:10-14, 8:10

This is the sign of the New Covenant that God has made with His people - the sign of Mary who conceived by the coming of the Holy Spirit upon her and the overshadowing of the power of God almighty which brought forth our Savior who is Emmanuel, God with us.  'If God be with us who can be against us?'

Hebrews 10:4-10

No sacrifice other than the sacrifice of Your holy, blameless life could pay for our wickedness and find favor with God.  bathed in Your Blood, we become acceptable to God, for Your Blood alone can wash away the sins of the world.  it is through this perfect sacrifice that we become acceptable to God our Father.

Psalm 40:7-11

How prophetically the psalmist speaks of all that You would accomplish for us my lord.  You became the Lamb without stain or blemish who willingly laid down His life in order that we may life.  Thank You.

Luke 1:26-38

May I imitate mary, the Mother of God and my Mother in every way for I too want to be pleasing to Him just as she was.

Mary, my mama, pray for me.

HAIL MARY

Jeremiah 31:31-34, Hebrews 5:7-9, Psalm 51:3-4, John 12:20-33

Daily Holy Mass Readings:  Jeremiah 31:31-34, Hebrews 5:7-9, Psalm 51:3-4,
                                                        John 12:20-33

Jeremiah 31:31-34

Beloved, this is what You do for us in the Sacrament of Baptism, You give us the gift of faith and thus Your law of love is etched on our hearts.  You make us children of Your Father and Your brothers and sisters. You also give us Your Own Holy Spirit who makes our bodies His temple and who leads us into the knowledge of God and the wisdom of God.  Thank You my Beloved for all You have done for us by calling us by name and inviting us to be Your very Own.

Hebrews 5:7-9

We know because You have revealed this truth to us that the two keys to the Father's heart are obedience and humility.  You are the Master, the Teacher, the Lord and You shown us by example how to obey in perfect humility the Father's will, His commandment, which is to love God first and then our neighbor as ourselves.

Psalm 51:3-4

A clean heart is only possible through the Sacrament of Reconciliation.  True contrition, repentance and forgiveness are found here, on our knees before Your anointed, confessing like the prodigal son that we have sinned before heaven and before You.  it is here that the Father hurries to restore us once more into His family and into loving fellowship with You.

John 12:20-33

You died for all whether they know it or not.  Salvation is given to all thorugh You.  The gates of heaven now stand open and we enter only thorugh You.  But like You we too must be prepared to die to self and to sin.  Only in dying with You can we hope to inherit the salvation You obtained for us by Your passion, death and glorious Resurrection..  Yes, the gates of heaven are open but I must be prepared to die to everything that isnot of the Kingdom if I am to be restored to life in You.  help me Lord!!!.

Wisdom 2:1, 12-22, Psalm 34:17-21, 23, John 7:1-2, 10, 25-30

Daily Holy Mass Readings: Wisdom 2:1, 12-22, Psalm 34:17-21, 23,
                                                         John 7:1-2, 10, 25-30

Wisdom 2:1, 12-22

Verse 12 is a perfect description of the world we live in today.  These prophetic verses written long before You became incarnate point to You my Lord; how is it then that Your people of the Old Covenant did not see then and do not see now the perfect fulfillment of all these prophecies in You?  Truly Lord often it is because we deliberately choose not to see for if we did then we would have to lead transformed lives.  All the world then would have to bow the knee and proclaim You as Lord to the glory of God our Father.

Psalm 34:17-21, 23

23 But the Lord will redeem the life of his servants;
none of those who trust in him will be doomed.

How wonderfully reassuring verse 23 is my beloved Lord.    All who have entrusted their lives to You are redeemed by Your most precious Blood.

John 7:1-2, 10, 25-30

My Love, sometimes we make poor judgements about people because we think we know them.  We do not judge on the basis of truth but form false judgements baded on prejudice jsut as the people of Your day did.  help me Lord not to succumb to this false way of thinking as I am often tempted to do.

1)  You are My dear friend and I love you.

2)  I desire that everything goes well with you and that you may enjoy health in body and soul.

5)  Accept everyone for My sake.

8)  Pay close attention to those who have more experience than you and heed their advise and instruction.

                                              John 5:1-3, 15-16

Ezekiel 37:1-9, 12

My Beloved, the deeper we enter in You, the more we will be engulfed by Your absolute goodness, beasuty and love.  you will sweep us off our feet and we will be carried along with the wonderful currents of deep passion, giving up all that we cling and hold on to that is not of You allowing ourselves to be carried headlong into the very heart of God.  There we will find all that is good and necessary for life.

---- Mine, don't hold back - let the bouyant waves caused by the ocean of My love lift you up.  Do not be afraid!!  Trust Me!!!

I will my Beloved.

Psalm 46:2,3,5,6,8,9

Thank You Lord for the life I have in You rooted in Your goodness, beauty, truth and love.

John 5:1-3, 15-16

Beloved, within the Church there are those who are spiritually disabled, handicapped and spiritually challenged.  They have either a warped concept of the Eternal Truth or they seek healing and wholeness in things that cannot measure up to their expectations and so they continue to be disappointed, discouraged and disheartened.  Many have either a poor faith formation or it is almost non-existent and so they muddle along and when life throws up a challenge and things go horribly wrong in their lives they have the termerity to blame You.

There is no excuse for spiritual lethargy today.  We can help ourselves by asking You to send us Your Holy Spirit who will lead us into all Truth and then we must help ourselves by building our faith through prayer and study, by becoming familiar with the Church's teaching, the Catechism etc.  All the information is available freely at our fingertips on the internet  - but we have to make the effort to avail ourselves of it,  Help us Lord!!!!.

                                                       Matthew 1:1-16, 18-21
2 Samuel 7:4-5, 12-14, 16

My Beloved, David wanted to build a temple so that God could live among His people but he was told that it would not be him but his son Solomon who would build a temple, a dwelling place for God.  it took Solomon over 50 years to build the temple.  You however came to make Your dwelling place in the hearts of those who follow You.  You have made our bodies a living temple of Your most Holy Spirit.  You have ensured that You will be Emmanuel - God with us always.  Thank You.
Romans 4:13, 16-18, 22

Dear St. Joseph too was a friend of God through faith.  Faith is Your free gift to all who are baptized and is given to anyone You will to give it to.  Every one of the promises You made has been fulfilled in the Son of the Most High God and St. Joseph was privileged to be both foster father and protector to Jesus and His Mother Mary, the ever virgin Mother of God.  St. Joseph believed in faith and obeyed all that God commanded him to do and he now enjoys a place of honor in heaven in the company of all the angels and saints.

Psalm 89:2-5, 27, 29

Father God, You are true to Your promises.  You are a faithful God and You will keep the covenant of love You have made with us through Your Son.  Rooted in You, grafted on to You, redeemed and sanctified by You, we too like St. Joseph will be with You someday in heaven in the company of all Your friends who have gone before us.

Matthew 1:1-16, 18-21

In the middle of Lent we celebrate the Solemnity of St. Joseph and we have a little taste of Christmas.  We are reminded of the beginning when God pierced the curtain of time and place and became Emmanuel - God with us.  St. Joseph, a human being like us, shows us how we too can be pleasing to God.  Obedience and humility are the two keys with which we can unlock the heart of God and enter His Kingdom.

2 Chronicles 36:14-16, 19-23

My Beloved, we keep rejecting You but You are faithful.  Because of the unfaithfulness of the Jews we Gentiles were blessed to hear the Good News and receive the gift of faith in You.  You have promised that all who hear and believe will be saved Jews as well as Gentiles.  Praise God!!!

Ephesians 2:4-10

How true Beloved, we are all saved through grace which is the work of God in us.  He loved us so much that He sent You, His only beloved So,n to be the means by which all men are saved.  Our response to this grace is to live a life of good works that You have already planned for us to do in this life.  Our faith is proved by our works out of out sheer love and gratitude to You.  It is our grateful response to Your love that we willingly become our brother's keeper and good Samaritans.

Psalm 137:1-6

May I always remember al You have done for me and give You grateful thanks and praise.

John 3:14-21

You have chosen me I did not choose You, may I remember that always.   May everyone find a welcome me just as I have found a welcome in You always.

Hosea 14:2-10, Psalm 81:6-11, 14, 17, Mark 12:28-34

Daily Holy Mass Readings:  Hosea 14:2-10, Psalm 81:6-11, 14, 17, Mark 12:28-34

Hosea 14:2-10

My Beloved, You are God Almighty and You long for the love of Your poor, unworthy, sinful, weak creature.  I do love You.  I want to be like the cedar that flourishes because I am rooted in You.  I want Your fragrance to emanate from me to all around me.  I want to be everything that You desire me to be.

Psalm 81:6-11, 14, 17

My own true God, I do walk with You and You have filled my mouth with the sweetest of wheat - Your precious Body and with the wine of Your most precious Blood.  Each time I called when I was in distress  You hastened to me.  You are always by my side and so often I continue to wallow in self-pity instead of looking to You for strength.  Thank You for putting up with me, loving me and blessing me anyway.

Mark 12:28-34

My Beloved how pleased You are with us when we understand the things of God and the things of heaven.  It is then that You joyously and lavishly bestow Your grace on us as only a loving and generous God can.  The knowledge of these truths must lead me to put these eternal truths into practice.  Love of God and love of neighbout is the only way by which we can live as You call us to do.

Loving is not always easy my Beloved because we areare all sinners and this places barriers between us that only grace can help to overcome.

M--- Mine, love covers a multitude of sins.  You only have to look at Me on the Cross to know the truth of these words.  Even if you are rebuffed and rejected it must not stop you from trying.  Do not allow your hurt feelings to become an insurmountable hindrance or barrier - love overcomes all.  Be true to yourself always.  Do not try to be someone you are not.  You are you and that is the person I love.  Be filled with My Spirit.  Be filled with My Love.

Thank you.

And remember when the viper strikes you, you will be unharmed by its malicious and spiteful poison.

Jeremiah 7:23-28, Psalm 95:1-2, 6-9, Luke 11:14-23

Daily Holy Mass Readings:  Jeremiah 7:23-28, Psalm 95:1-2, 6-9,
                                                         Luke 11:14-23

Jeremiah 7:23-28
23 One thing I did command them: Listen to my voice and I will be your God and you will be my people. Walk in the way I command you and all will be well with you. 24 But they did not listen and paid no attention; they followed the bad habits of their stubborn heart and turned away from me.
25 From the time I brought their forebearers out of Egypt until this day I have continually sent them my servants, the prophets, 26 but this stiff-necked people did not listen. They paid no attention and were worse than their forebearers.
27 You may say all these things to them but they will not listen; you will call them but they will not answer. 28 This is a nation that did not obey Yahweh and refused to be disciplined; truth has perished and is no longer heard from their lips.

My Beloved, grant me this grace, to earnestly seek to listen to Your voice and to obey all that You command.  I am Your servant and I accept all that You will for me as long as I live.  this is the way to be happy in the world.

Verses 24-28 are such a powerful description of the world today.  You have given the Church powerful leaders in our recent Popes and in the present successor to Peter, our Pope Benedict VI; but their voices have been like the voice of St. John the Baptist - a voice crying in the wilderness to repent and retunr to You but the world will not listen.

Be merciful Lord!.

M--- Mine, truly the people of this age are a stiff necked, evil and stupid generation.  How much longer do I have to put up with them?  They are unwilling to hear My voice and return to me.  But I am a God of love.  I am patient, compassionate, gentle and kind.  truly many of them are ignorant, they have no knowledge of the truth because they have been raised on a steady diet of lies and hedonism by the Deceiver.  Pray and fast for your brothers and sisters.

Psalm 95:1-2, 6-9

Praise You Father,
Praise You Son,
Praise You Holy Spirit.

"It is You alone I love,
You alone I seek,
You alone My God
Am I ready to serve."   St. Augustine

Luke 11:14-23

My Beloved, we know what is right and true and yet, because we want to continue indulging in sin, or because we are looking for human appreciation and affection we are mute and refuse to speak; our evil motives render us dumb.  Cowardice keeps us from speaking.  In times like these Lord may I call on Your mighty Name for deliverance.  There is none stronger than You and You have won the victory for me so I can be confident that I can overcome the wiles of the enemy.  Count me among those who are with You Lord in the service of Your Kingdom and laboring in Your vineyard.

 Deuteronomy 4:1, 5-9

M--- Mine do You want to enter the Kingdom of God then put into practice all that I teach You.  I the Lord am Your God what reason do have you to fear or be discouraged?  Why do you moan and groan as if you are an orphan?  What have I not done for you?  Why do you seek the love of people, is not my love sufficient for you? Have I not loved you enough?  Have I not grafted you on to My Heart?  Is it not My Life that gives you strength - My Body and Blood that nourishes you?  Then why are you downcast?  Lift up your soul to receive the grace I pour upon you.  Shake off the gloom - you are a child of the Most High, you call My Father, your Abba, You call Me your Beloved Spouse.  Do not grieve Me by hankering for human acceptance and affection.

Psalm 147:12-13, 15, 19-20
12 Exalt the Lord, ---- Mine,
praise your God!
13 For he strengthens the bars of your gates
and blesses your children within you.
15 He sends his command to the earth
and swiftly runs his word.
19 It is he who tells Jacob his words,
his laws and decrees to Israel.
20 This he has not done for other nations,
so his laws remain unknown to them.

Matthew 5:17-20

M--- Mine, My Law is perfect, it is the law of love.  Total love for God  makes you one with Me and from this union love must flow to neighbor.

Daily Holy Mass Readings:  Daniel 3:25, 34-43, Psalm 25:4-9,
                                                         Matthew 18:21-35

Daniel 3:25, 34-43

Verse 40....May this sacrifice of ours today obtain for us your favor for we know that those who trust in you shall never be disappointed. 41 And now, we serve you with our whole heart, we fear you and we seek your face. 42 Do not leave us in our humiliation, but treat us according to your kindness and your great mercy.

My Beloved Jesus, I am Yours - have mercy on me and do not abandon me.  May I be pleasing to You all day today.  Grant me Your Holy Spirit in order that I may be a blessing to all whom I meet this day.
Psalm 25:4-9

Teach me your ways, O Lord; make known to me your paths.
Guide me in your truth and instruct me, for you are my God, my savior; I hope in you all day long.
Remember your compassion, O Lord, your unfailing love from of old.
7Remember not the sins of my youth, but in your love remember me.
Good and upright, the Lord teaches sinners his way.
He teaches the humble of heart and guides them in what is right.

"---- Mine, you belong to Me.  Why are you troubled, anxious, disheartened - Trust Me!  I give you now and always everything you will ever need to live a life that is pelasing to Me.  You are a child of God, a daughter of the Father, grafted in Me, you aare heir to the Kingdom.  The Holy Spirit is poured upon you to give you counsel, to guide you, strengthen you, encourage you and to enable you to understand the things of God.  Lift up your soul and praise God!!!!.

Thank You my Beloved.

Matthew 18:21-35
My Beloved, may I always recall how much you have forgiven me and may I look with compassion on those who struggle just as I continue to do, and may I show them the same mercy, compassion and kindness You have always shown me.

2 Kings 5:1-15, Psalm 42:2-3, 43:3-4, Luke 4:24-30

Daily Holy Mass Readings:  2 Kings 5:1-15, Psalm 42:2-3, 43:3-4,
                                                        Luke 4:24-30

2 Kings 5:1-15

Naaman'syoung servant girl spoke a word of hope:

Verse 2
One day some Aramean soldiers raided the land of Israel and took a young girl captive who became a servant to the wife of Naaman. She said to her mistress, “If my master would only present himself to the prophet in Samaria, he would surely cure him of his leprosy.”

Verse 10, 13 & 14
10 Elisha then sent a messenger to tell him, “Go to the river Jordan and wash seven times, and your flesh shall be as it was before, and you shall be cleansed.”
Verse 13  Take a bath and Ou will be cleansed.
14 So Naaman went down to the Jordan where he washed himself seven times as Elisha had ordered. His skin became soft like that of a child and he was cleansed.

What the waters of Jordan did for Naaman the waters of baptism does for us sinners who are born again and grafted on to Your Body.  Baptized in the Name of the Trinity we too are cleansed.

If we are obedient to God's Word - JESUS, He will honor His Word and give us all He has promised and more.

Psalm 42:2-3, 43:3-4
As a deer longs for flowing streams,
so my soul longs for you, O God.
My soul thirsts for God, for the living God.
When shall I go and see the face of God?

 Psalm 43:3-4
Send forth your light and your truth;
let them be my guide,
let them take me to your holy mountain,
to the place where you reside.

Teach me Lord to hunger and thirst for the coming of the Kingdom on earth and grant me the grace to do all that You will me to do to make it happen.

Luke 4:24-30

28 On hearing these words, the whole assembly became indignant. 29 They rose up and brought him out of the town, 30 to the edge of the hill on which Nazareth is built, intending to throw him down the cliff. But he passed through their midst and went his way.

The evil that resides in the human heart cannot bear to face the Truth and they will do all in their power to crush and annihilate it.  They will crucify it and watch it with malicious glee as it writhes and dies.  They will torment it and curse it with a ferocity that is breathtaking in the vile vitriol that it spews.  It's cunning is the cunning of Satan who makes a lie morph into the truth and so devours so many weak and willing victims.

Thank You my Beloved, for this most exhilirating promise made to those who love You and keep Your commandments.

Verse18
18 In the meantime, all the people witnessed the thunder and lightning and heard the blast of the trumpet and saw the mountain smoking. They trembled with fear and kept at a distance.

My Beloved, never has there been an intimacy as that between You and us,  we touch You, we taste You, we eat You and You make us one with You.  There is no love like Your love my Lord.

Thank You for Your insurmountable stregth on which we can lean and trust always, thank You also for your immense weakness for us sinners - You loved us to to death and to the Cross and You lifted us up in Your resurrection and ascension.

You are my God - I am Your to command always.

Micah 7:14-15, 18-20

You my Beloved are the Good Shepherd.  You have always protected Your own who know You and recognize Your voice.  You have given us living water to refresh our soul and the Bread of Life to nourish it. Amidst the plenty in the world, we live apart from it but we lack nothing because You provide everything we need.  You love us and You understand us.  you know all the circumstances that make us what we are and who we are, and You have pity and compassion and You rescue us from our own stupidity, foolishness and weakness.  You know that if You did not aid us, we would be lost eternally.  Thank You for giving us forgiveness from all our sins in You.

Psalm 103:1-4, 9-12

I sing with the psalmist this beautiful hymn of praise and thanksgiving to Your unchanging love, Your abiding kindness, goodness and compassion to us Your unworthy children.  Thank You that in You we can find a sure Friend at all times.

Luke 15:1-3, 11-32

The self-righteous forget that you came to save those who have no hope, who have lost all dignity and who are humiliated and crushed underfoot because they are invisible to the rich and the powerful.  The sinner, the tax collector and the prostitute will always find a welcome to feast at Your Table.

Genesis 37:3-4, 12-13, 17-28, Psalm 105:16-21, Matthew 21:33-43, 45-46

Daily Holy Mass Readings:  Genesis 37:3-4, 12-13, 17-28, Psalm 105:16-21,
                                                Matthew 21:33-43, 45-46

Genesis 37:3-4, 12-13, 17-28

The Father loves the Son.  The Father calls the Son and he responds in obedience, "Here I am."  The brothers are envious of His power which is clearly from God so they plot to destroy Him.  he was sold for thirty pieces of silver (the price from a slave - the money was taken from the temple treasury.)  Joseph was sold for 20 pieces of silver.

verse 23

They stripped Jesus of His beauty as Joseph was stripped of his beautiful coat, but they could not touch His Soul, His dignity, His inner strength, His power, His love, His freedom.

Psalm 105:16-21

verse 21
21 He put him in charge of his household and made him ruler of all his possessions.

The Father gave Him dominion and power over all that is seen and unseen so that at the Name of Jesus every knee shall bow and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord to the glory of the Father.

Matthew 21:33-43, 45-46

The truth is threatening to some who will do everything in their power to either destroy or pretend it doesn ot exist.  But you cannot Kill TRUTH because TRUTH is a DIVINE PERSON, THE SECOND PERSON OF THE HOLY TRINITY - HIS NAME IS JESUS CHRIST!!!!!!!!!!!.
