1 Corinthians 15:1-8

My Love, Beloved of my soul,

The Gospel is the Good News that we are saved by You and You alone. In Your Name, it has pleased the Father, to grant anything that we ask for to grow in holiness and in His image and likeness. This is indeed Good News that God did not wait for us to find a way back to Him but instead sent You to us as the only Way back.

Because You became like one of us, because You entered into our death, we know that there is nothing about the human condition You do not understand. You were born, You died for our sins, and You rose again from the dead and because of Your Resurrection we now have hope that death is not the end but the beginning of a new life in glory with You.

You appeared to many after Your Resurrection. We receive You in the Holy Eucharist, the God of glory and majesty and we are blessed. Thank You.

Psalm 19:2-5

My Love, Beloved of my soul,

The whole of creation, all that lives, and moves, glorifies You our God, Lord, and Creator of all. Give us eyes to see, ears to hear, a heart to love, a will to obey, a desire to seek and see You all around us and to respond to Your generous love for us always.

When it is hard to love Beloved, pour Your own grace and Holy Spirit into our hearts and help us to love the unlovable, the ungrateful, those that make it so hard for us to love them as You command us to. Amen.

John 14:6-14

My Love, Beloved of my soul,

I am forever grateful to the Father for His unfathomable love for us. We are unworthy, we are more often than not unlovable because we reject the Father over and over again and are ungrateful. We take His love for granted. But He does not treat us as we treat Him. Instead, He gave us His most Precious, and Beloved Son to die for us and to redeem us.

In today's Gospel, You tell us most clearly that anyone who sees You has seen the Father. The Father and You are One. Having known You, the Son, we also know the Father who sent You into the world to redeem it. You have spoken the Father's words, You have done the Father's work. You and the Father cannot be separated. You go on to say something even more breathtaking,

Amen, amen, I say to you,
whoever believes in me will do the works that I do,
and will do greater ones than these,
because I am going to the Father.
And whatever you ask in my name, I will do,
so that the Father may be glorified in the Son.
If you ask anything of me in my name, I will do it."

Jesus, meek and humble of heart, I beg You not to abandon us but to remain with us and help us to remain in You so we can remain in the Father as well.
