Isaiah 26:3-4, 7-8,11-12,19, 20

Daily Meditation:  Isaiah 26:3-4, 7-8,11-12,19, 20

Isaiah 26:3-4, 7-8,11-12,19, 20

You keep in perfect peace
the one of steadfast mind,
the one who trusts in you.
Trust in the Lord forever,
for the Lord is an everlasting Rock.

My Beloved, in the midst of a situation that could  have caused distress and anxiety, You kept me in perfect peace and free from fear.  I know that You are the Almighty, all powerful God and there is no other.  My hope and my trust is in You.  You have caused my faith to stand firm.  I do trust You forever.

7 Let the righteous walk in righteousness. You make smooth the path of the just, and we only seek the way of your laws, O Yahweh.
Your name and your memory are the desire of our hearts.

You made the way smooth for me and I long to be counted as one who belongs only to You.

There is no sweeter Name than Yours my Lord - sweeter than honey from the comb.  To speak Your Name is delight to me and I could sing it all day long forever.

. My soul yearns for you in the night; for you my spirit keeps vigil.

I do yearn for You all the the night and my soul keeps vigil before Your sanctuary and when I awake, You fill my waking moments with the sweetness of Your awesome Presence as You invite me to a deeper encounter with You.

11 Yahweh, your hand is lifted up, but they fail to see that.
Let them see your zeal for your people, that they may be put to shame.

Let the world see how much You love us Lord and maybe they too will wake up from their stupor and offer You the praise that is due to You my Beloved Lord.

12 Yahweh, please give us peace; for all that we accomplish is your work.
19 .......Awake and sing, you who lie in the dust!

Yes, my Lord, the gift of peace from the Prince of peace! Let is be ours for we wish to toil only in Your vineyard.

Let your dew fall, O Lord, like a dew of light, and the earth will throw out her dead.

Let the sweetness, the power and the joy of the Spirit fall upon us as gently as the dew falls on the earth and may it bring life  as death comes to an end.

20 Come, my people, enter your rooms and shut the doors behind you;
Thank You Lord, yes I will enter into the Sanctuary, the tabernacle of Your Holy Presence alone and there my Lord, I will fall on my face and adore and worship You my only true God.
