1 Corinthians 1:2-9

2 ............to you whom God has sanctified in Christ Jesus and called to be holy, together with those who everywhere call upon the name of our Lord Christ Jesus, their Lord and ours.
Receive grace and peace from God our Father, and Christ Jesus our Lord.
I give thanks constantly to my God for you and for the grace of God given to you in Christ Jesus. For you have been fully enriched in him with words as well as with knowledge, even as the testimony concerning Christ was confirmed in you. You do not lack any spiritual gift and only await the glorious coming of Christ Jesus, our Lord. He will keep you steadfast to the end, and you will be without reproach on the day of the coming of our Lord Jesus. The faithful God will not fail you after calling you to this fellowship with his Son, Christ Jesus, our Lord.

My Beloved, I read these verses last night and again several times this morning.  You speak directly to me in my hour of need.  Never have I felt more comforted and strengthened.  So full of courage and assurance of all that I am in You and in the Church as a member of Your Body.

I gladly receive from Your hands and heart the generous gifts that You pour on me.  I am blessed for You have given me a place and a share in the glorious work of establishing Your Kingdom on earth.  You have provided all I need to be faithful.  I have been enriched with words and knowledge, grace and peace, to testify and witness to You.  You make clear to me that I have have spiritual gifts and that as I live in hope of Your coming, You will keep me steadfast to the end, and dare I even say it Beloved, repeat the most comforthing words ever uttered to a weak, frail, sinner, You say that I will be withou reproach on the day of Your coming.  How good You are my Beloved to enable me to belost in You in order that You may be recognized.

O gracious God, thank You for Your glorious promise that You will never fail me after having called me in to intimate fellowship and union with You.  My Lord and my God, thank You, thank You.  I love You how good You are.
