1 Maccabees 6:1-13

Beloved, thank You for reminding me that all our actions have consequences whether good or evil.  Grant me the gift of discernment through Your Holy Spirit so I might live a life that is always pleasing to You.

Luke 20:27-40

Beloved, once again You remind me that those who belong to You are a Resurrection people.  A people of hope.  Death is not the end but only a new beginning, a doorway into eternal life in the Kingdom of Heaven where we will all join the angels to love and praise and adore the Triune God and this will be our perfect joy.
