GENESIS 17:3-9
My Beloved, Soul of my soul,
Just as God called Abram and named him Abraham so too does He call me and give me a new identity as His daughter. I am a child of God and heaven is my destiny.
Just as God made a covenant with Abraham and his descendants so too has he made a New Covenant with me through His incarnate Word. You are God's Covenant with me and with all who believe in You.
Through the power of the Holy Spirit, we are rich in all the graces poured into our soul through the Sacrament You instituted. You commanded Your Apostles to go to the ends of the earth and make disciples of all nations and they were many. However Beloved, we forgot our inheritance, we strayed far away from the voice of Wisdom and now the time is upon us when the chaff is being winnowed from the wheat. Our greatest consolation in this time of desolation and anxiety is that God will never forget the Covenant He has made with us for You are our Emmanuel.
God also said to Abraham:
“On your part, you and your descendants after you
must keep my covenant throughout the ages.”
PSALM 105:4-9
My Beloved, Soul of my soul,
You are the Light of the World. You are the Word of God. You are our Strong Tower and all who take refuge in You are safe. This storm will pass and we will not be destroyed for God's Covenant is everlasting.
You are the Oath with which the Father has bound Himself to us. You are God's Word which He uttered once and all that is came to be and we, His children are born from that Word through water and the Holy Spirit. We belong to the Father and whether we live or we die - we shall live.
JOHN 8:51-59
My Beloved, Soul of my soul,
You said, "Amen, amen, I say to you, whoever keeps my word will never see death." All who repose in Your Word, all who take refuge in it, all who make Your Word their Light and their Signpost, all who feed on Your Word and are guided by it even if they die they will live.
This is the Covenant made with us in the Sacrament of Baptism. You are our Covenant - You became sin and entered death, You gained victory over our greatest fear and now we are a new creation in You. Soon we will sing with our hearts broken and tears flooding our eyes, joining the Church with one voice and once spirit while we are exiled in our homes and sing, 'Death where is your sting, where o death is your victory.'
You are glorified, Beloved, You are raised to the highest heavens, seated at the right hand of the Father and from there You continue to draw all who believe to You. What does it matter if we are called to suffer here on earth? You taught us how to transform suffering through the redeeming power of the Cross.
Before the great affliction was upon us the world did everything in its power to stone You and drive out of the world, out of schools, out of the hearts of people and children the time is now upon us when most people will welcome You back for we now see that without You there is no hope and no light. governments, churches and the heart of people.
We thank You for not abandoning us even though we abandoned You. Thank You for being our God who is the same yesterday, today and forever.
