DAILY HOLY MASS READINGS
Friday of the Seventh Week of Easter
The Holy Spirit will teach you everything
and remind you of all I told you. Jn 14:26
Acts 25:13B-21, Psalm 103:1-2, 11-12, 19-20AB,
John 21:15-19
Acts 25:13B-21
My Love, Beloved of my soul,
King Agrippa and his sister Bernice who is also his concubine are living boldly in sin. Those in authority and power oftentimes sin unconscionably. Living completely in the present with no fear of God and judgement they parade their sins boldly to the world and the world makes no objection. This is how the wicked are emboldened and sins are multiplied.
Psalm 103:1-2, 11-12, 19-20A
My Love, Beloved of my soul,
The best way to bless and glorify You is to count our blessing always and to never forget how good, kind and gracious You always are.
Thank You, Beloved, for Your great kindness to us and for Your special tenderness for sinners who are repentant and striving honestly to overcome sin. Thank You for forgiveness of sins and for not having a recollection of our past sins once we have repented of them.
Thank You, Father, for giving us a Savior like Your Son Jesus, who is enthroned in the highest heavens and who is the true and just Ruler of the world.
John 21:15-19
My Love, Beloved of my soul,
Sometimes You ask us questions to which You know the answer but it is important for us to hear those questions and for us to respond personally to them. It is important for us to have a clear understanding of what is being asked and for us to respond with complete honesty and clarity.
In the end, it is important to know that we must follow You and allow the Holy Spirit to help us to follow You sincerely, closely, obediently, and humbly.
Grant O Lord, that we who follow You, may glorify You always.
