Jeremiah 33:14-16

My Love, Beloved of my soul,

Every promise made by God to His people in the Old Testament found its fulfillment in You. You are the great promise of God to all who believe. You lay down Your life in order to raise us up to the highest heavens. You have shown us the way to the Father's house, You have revealed the Truth on how we can get there, and You give us help and strength through the Sacraments to sustain us along the way. Thank You, Lord.

Psalm 25:4-5, 8-9, 10, 14

My Love, Beloved of my soul,

Morning after morning I come before You and I entreat You to help me live according to You will. Be my teacher my and guide. Take me by the hand and lead me. Point the way to me and say, "This is the way you must go."

Grant me the grace of humility in all things, this is a virtue most pleasing to You. All that You ask of me grant that I may do it gladly. Grant me wisdom Beloved I need it. Thank You for the gift of Your friendship and for Your promise to stay with me.

1 Thessalonians 3:12--4:2

My Love, Beloved of my soul,

As Christians, we are called to be in the world but not of it. We are called to grow in love for each other and to love as You have loved. In this way, we can grow in holiness. It is only through love that we can please God as we wait in hope for Your coming again in glory. Beloved, help me to stay faithful to the end.

Luke 21:25-28, 34-36

My Love, Beloved of my soul,

You have said let those who have ears listen. Keep me attentive and grant that through the Holy Spirit I may be able to understand the signs and discern what You are saying to me.

It is hard to believe that we are a redeemed world when we look around us. So many have laid down their lives for the sake of the Gospel in order that it may reach the ends of the earth, yet many reject it. Many are hostile to it. We live in a world that is tossed about by every wind of worldly wisdom each assuring us that they are right, yet they all lead to death. Grant us new signs Beloved so that we will be shaken out of our lethargy and complacency. Enable me to be prepared always because I do not know the hour when I will be called into Your Presence to give an account of my life which is Your gift to me.

It is so easy to put off what I must do now. Help me, Beloved, to live each day as if it were my last. To do all that You ask of me promptly and joyfully. Right now I give You all my fears, my sadness, my anxieties, my worries, my darkness of spirit, and I ask You Beloved to look with pity and compassion on me and pour into my soul Your Spirit, Your Life, and Your Light.
