Galatians 3:7-14

My Love, Beloved of my soul,

There is a moment in time, ever since the dawn of history, when God, according to His wisdom, makes a choice and uses that person to accomplish His will and execute His plan. So it was with Abraham. Of all the pagan nations at the time God's choice fell on him and through him, God began to reveal Himself to the world. We measure time because we are in it but God does everything is in an instant. God wills and it is accomplished. We who are constrained by time and space must wait patiently, prayerfully, and with hope that God will fulfill every one of His promises. In the end, all that God desires will be done. It is we who must keep our gaze on Him and on You and we will receive all the strength and grace we need to persevere to the end.
Psalm 111:1b:6

My Love, Beloved of my soul, it is right that we always give You thanks, glory, and honor in the presence of Your people. I do not deserve any of Your kindnesses to me and yet Your goodness is not dependant on anything that I do or have done. You love me and because You do, You lavish every gift, grace, and blessing on me and on those I love.

Grant my Beloved, that I never forget that You are God and that I am Your nothing. You are good and gracious to me not because of anything I have done but because in love, You have chosen me for Yourself. 

Luke 11:16-26

My Love, Beloved of my soul,

There is great evil in the world and there are demons who will not rest.  They prowl through the world without ceasing looking to devour as many souls as possible. We have only to look at our world to see how evil spirits have taken possession of so many people. From the terrible crimes committed everywhere, it is clear that evil exists. It is a miasma that suffocates life and extinguishes it. It is death and decay.

When the people accuse You of using the power of demons to drive out demons it is clear that they will say anything to justify not believing in You.  They would rather remain blind than admit that God was at work powerfully in You. No man could do what You did over and over again demonstrating clearly that You were indeed the Son of God.

It is not enough to say that we will mend our ways and stop sinning, once we give up our evil ways, we have to invite You and Your Spirit to enter our lives only then can we overcome the devil.
