My soul's beloved, I was created for You and You alone. Forgive me for the many times I have sinned and gone away from You. I have received from Your benevolent hands every good and perfect gift and I have so often turned away from You to follow my own sinful inclinations. Thank You for not abandoning me. Thank You for not taking my life from me for had I died in my sins I would have no hope of heaven.
