Exodus 34:4-6, 8-9

My Beloved, we need You, left to ourselves we will wither and die and become worthless.  Have pity on us O Lord, we are sinful because we are weak.  Lord do not abandon us because we love You.  In Your pity make haste and rescue us.  Help us to walk in the way of truth and grant us Your mercy and pardon.

 2 Corinthians 13:11-13

My Beloved, You want us to be happy.  You want us to strive for perfection.  You ask us to have courage when things are difficult.  You call us to have unity of mind and purpose.  If we do, then we will experience the peace that You desire us to have.  We are called to live in friendship with each other.  You on Your part will bless us and keep us in the Name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

John 3:16-18

Beloved Father, Abouna, thank You for showing us how much You love us.  You did not hold back Your only Son but sent Him into the world to become the means of our salvation.  Condemned to an eternal death because we lost Your friendship through sin, You did not abandon us but in Your pity and compassion, knowing that we could do nothing to save ourselves, You sent us a Redeemer, a Savior, a Messiah.

You did not spare Your only Beloved Son, but in Your goodness and love for us sinners, He became, in accordance with Your will, the Spotless Victim who bore upon Himself our shame and punishment.  Dying an ignoble death, He paid the price for our iniquity.  Ours were the sufferings He bore, ours were the sorrows He carried, He bears a punishment that bring us peace and by His wounds we are healed.

Thank You Father, Son and Holy Spirit - Creator, Redeemer and Sanctifier!
