Beloved this beautiful story of Joanna and God's wonderful protection of her despite the evil plotted against her teaches us that we too need not fear men no matter how powerful they may be. We must never compromise and bend to the dictates of the world no matter what pressure is exerted on us. Help us to remain steadfast in the face of temptation and preserve us from death. Keep us faithful Lord!
Psalm 23:1-6
Thank You for being my Good Shepherd and leading me ever since I was born. Thank You for Your ever present help. Thank You for the times of rest and refreshment in You. In the quiet of Your Presence I can renew and strengthen my soul with Your love and the heavenly Bread You provide. No evil or harm can touch me for Your mighty protection encompasses me just as You encompass Your holy Church.
John 8:12-20
My Beloved, the Pharisees understood nothing because their minds were stubbornly closed to all You revealed to them about the Truth. They rejected You and through their rejection of You they condemned themselves. So it is with the world today, people refuse to hear You or Your Church which lives the Gospel and stands firm on the pillar of Your Word and the Truth that You revealed through Your Apostles. The gates of hell shall never prevail against her and all who shelter in her and are nourished by her through Your Holy Spirit, who reposes in Your Church and by the Holy Eucharist will be vindicated and will triumph with You. Stay with us Lord!!!
