Isaiah 59:21b
My spirit which I have poured out on you, and my words which I have put in your mouth, will never leave you, nor your children, nor your children’s children forever and ever.

Jeremiah 17:5-10

Trust in Me alone do not place your trust in men when I the Lord am with you. Do not let your love be drawn away from Me to any created thing. Trust in Me and live. Trust in Me and remain in My love and you will bear fruit that will last. Always fresh, always green, always fruitful. In Me you will never know want or fear. No harm will come to you. Evil will not ensnare you for I the Lord your God am with you always. Men will fail you, I am faithful, I know you, I love you. In Me alone is life in abundance. In Me you will never know rejection only loving kindness and acceptance. You are irrevocably Mine.
NEVER FORGET THAT YOU ARE MINE

Psalm 1:1-4 & 6

My Love, the world is full of people who are good, holy and righteous and who follow You with sincerity. The world is also full of wicked men and women who mock and scoff all that is pure, noble and holy. I can choose with whom I will keep company. I can choose to keep my mind, heart and soul fixed on You through the busy hours of the day and draw my strength and nourishment from You.  If I do then I in turn can pour out Your strength and Your love to everyone I meet. You know Your own and Your own know You. Blessed be the Name of the Lord now and forever.

Luke 16:19-31

The sin of indifference to the suffering and the wounds of another is a heinous offence against God. I am called by God to be my brother's keeper. This is my mission to take what I have received from the hands of a loving and generous God and share it with everyone I encounter through the day. When I fail to give, I fail to live the life of my Beloved.

My Beloved, there are so many in the world who have a great hunger and thirst. Their lives are miserable because they do not know You - if they did they could feast at Your banquet. But there is no one to lead them. Their very hunger and poverty and desire will find favor in Your sight whereas we who have sat, dined and feasted each day at Your table but refused to share what we have received, will be condemned. Let us not be surprised when we will be counted among the goats whereas those we least expected to be saved will be among the sheep.

Now is the acceptable time of the Lord, now is the time of our visitation. Let us stay awake!!!!!!!

Jeremiah 18:18-20, Psalm 31:5-6, 14-16, Matthew 20:17-28

 13th Day in Lent
Nothing pleases me more than when My friends contemplate and meditate on My Passion. Pray the Stations of the Cross during this season and I will bless you bountifully.

Jeremiah 12:3abc
3 But you, Yahweh, you know me and see me;
you search my heart – it is close to you.

Jeremiah 18:18-20

When You raise Your voice to Your Father on our behalf my Beloved it is as our Defender that You do so. You say, "Father forgive them they do not know what they do." From the words of the prophet we see what You suffered at the hands of the religious authorities. You were aware of their plots to take Your life. You are God so nothing was hidden from You and as Man how it must have weighed You down with sorrow. It was not only the anticipation of Your agony that crushed You with grief, but it was the rejection of many who were caught up with the frenzy of the moment and bayed for Your Blood. They knew You were innocent and did not deserve to die yet this did not stop them from clamoring for Your life.

My Beloved, You have always stood in the breach in our defence and You continue to do so. Thank You Lord.

Psalm 31:5-6, 14-16

My Beloved, did Your heart race when You knew that Your enemies were plotting against You? Did You sweat with anguish when You were alone at prayer with Your Father and You contemplated all that You would have to endure for us? Did the Father enfold You in His all embracing, compassionate and grateful love for what You would do for His adopted children? How absolutely sacred were those moments away human sight. The Father and the Holy Spirit strengthened You in Your resolve and the bonds of love closed ever more securely around You.

Your filial trust in Your Father was well placed. The Father delivered us from the hand of the enemy by delivering You into his hands thus vanquishing Satan forever and establishing You as the Lord of all that is, that was and is to come.  Thank You my Lord and my God.

Matthew 20:17-28

My Beloved, there was no element of Your Passion that was not known to  You always. You knew everything down to the last excruciating detail. Your concern was for Your disciples, the twelve, You did not want them to be taken by surprise by all that was to take place. As gently and as tenderly as a father You prepared them for what was to come. "But He will be raised to life on the third day." This certainty is what must have grounded You.

You submitted to the Father's will in all things and even in glory You will not play favorites. It is always the Father's prerogative to do all in accordance with His love and wisdom.

We continue to jostle for pride of place even when we serve You. We want to be recognized, appreciated and applauded. There is a real danger of lording it over others when we have authority, position and power this is why You warn us of this vice that could rob us any merit in God's eyes if we live as the ruler of the world.

Verses 26-28 sum it up perfectly. Serving You in our brothers and sisters in humility will always carry with it a reward that is immeasurable and will always pleasing to You.

Isaiah 1:10, 16-20, Psalm 50:8-9, 16bc, 17, 21 & 23, Matthew 23:1-12

12th DAY IN LENT
Come to Me I am an ever present reality in you. In every situation in your life turn to Me as eagerly as a child to its father. In times of trouble, fear, anguish, joy run to Me I will scoop you up in my arms eagerly. Gladly will I listen to all you have to tell Me.

Psalm 36:8-10
How precious, O God, is your constant love!
Mortals take refuge in the shadow of your wings.
In your house they find rich food
and they  drink  from your  spring of delight.
10 For with you is the fountain of life,
in your light we see light.

Isaiah 1:10, 16-2

My Beloved, ever since God created us we have sinned and gone astray and God has come after us His unfaithful, sinful, shameless people and He has pleaded with us with words of incomparable love, cajoling and warning of the dire consequence of our actions much as a father does a recalcitrant child.

God loves us so much, He desires that all His children be saved and so He sent You, God, His Son, to take upon Yourself our sins beginning from the first to the last. God pays the price for our iniquity. To think that God loves us so much that He was willing to go to such unfathomable lengths is proof that God does love us as a Father and will do anything to save His children no matter how unworthy they are of His love.

Psalm 50:8-9, 16bc, 17, 21 & 23

All our good deeds and our half hearted sacrifices are as filthy rags before You. They lack merit because they lack love. The worst sin that we commit Lord is our disobedience to Your law of love so every word or prayer that comes from our lips is tainted. Our attempts at living holy lives are unconvincing and dependent on the emotion of the moment.

Lord God give me a grateful heart. Because You have created me in love I have hope of being united with You in this present life and in eternity. Fill me with Your Holy Spirit so He may teach me to walk in the way of the Lord my God. In verse 23 You promise that

"....the one who walks blamelessly,

I will show him the salvation of God.”

Matthew 23:1-12

The road to heaven is paved with the virtues of obedience and humility. It is a long, winding, narrow and rough road. One may stumble often and even fall and get bruised but this road is filled with the ever present reality of the Presence of Christ, the Son of God and all the Saints who have followed Him from earth to heaven.

In Verse 8 my Beloved You remind us that ALL without qualification are my brothers and sisters, our common humanity unites us. Help me never to forget this truth with the help of Your Holy Spirit.

Jesus meek and humble of heart, make my heart like unto Thine.

Daniel 9:4b-10

Beloved Jesus, be merciful to Your Church and to the people You have redeemed by Your Blood. Evil has spread its cancerous roots deep and seems to have taken over. Death and decay seem everywhere. We have sinned and deserve Your punishment. But if You turn Your Face from us, we will surely be lost forever. Do not forget that You have saved us. You have borne our punishment and our shame and by Your stripes we are healed. Draw Your Church, its leaders and its people back to You. Sanctify her with a fresh outpouring of Your Holy Spirit and restore her to strength once more.

Psalm 79:8, 9, 11 & 13

Forgive our sins Lord and remove our guilt. In Your mercy and compassion have pity and save us. Come quickly Lord for we are beset by trials on every side and the world weighs heavily upon us. Make haste O Lord and come to our aid before we are lost forever, before we become a laughing stock to the world. We know we have sinned and broken Your law of love. Forgive us Lord. Give us a broken hea" Name="Light Shading Accent 3then us in the time of our desolation. Let the world see what a great and glorious God we love, worship, adore and serve and let them know that we have a God who fights for us and loves us.

Luke 6:36-38

If we are merciful, You will show mercy to us. If we are kind, kindness will be ours. If we are not so quick to judge but rather if we understand that we are all frail and weak, we will be judged less severely. If we are quick to forgive any and all hurts, then You too will hasten to forgive us. If we are generous like You who are a Generous Giver and are ready to share what we have without fear, worry and anxiety that there will be less for ourselves, if we do not store for the future while another goes in want, You will be extravagantly generous with us and You will give us back a full measure, pressed down, full and running over for You my Beloved can never be outdone in generosity.
