DAILY HOLY MASS READINGS:

Isaiah 60:1-6, Psalm 72:1-2, 7-8, 10-13, Ephesians 3:2-3a, 5-6, Matthew 2:1-12

Isaiah 60:1-6

Until You came into the world, the whole world was waiting for the promises of God to be fulfilled.  Waiting in faith and hope for Love.  The world waited in the darkness just before dawn.  It is an expectant waiting.  The curtains of night will be lifted and the glory and promise of a brand new day will come upon us.

Like the wise men people from different nations come in response to the call of God to witness this wonderful new thing He has done for us.  Those who believe and respond find You and finding You, we fall on our knees and worship You.  We now await with the same glad expectation for Your second coming.

Psalm 72:1-2, 7-8, 10-13

My Beloved, You are the King of Kings and Lord of all and we are blessed to have You beside us ruling us with great love, compassion and tenderness.  Your Name has been preached everywhere and Your rule has been established over all nations.  To all who believe and accept, You have given the power to be called children of God.  All are welcome to take refuge under Your mighty protection.  In You the poor find a home.  You are the dwelling place of all who desire to shelter in You.  Thank You Lord!!!

Ephesians 3:2-3a, 5-6

My Beloved, any gift we receive from You is not for personal glory but must be shared.  It is You who reveals Yourself to us if You so desire, all we can do is wait with expectant faith in humility.  In the fullness of time, God sent You, His only Son into the world and You make known to us the love of God and the lengths that He was prepared to go to keep us always in His love.  Thank You Lord!!!

Matthew 2:1-12

My Beloved, only those who truly desire to see You will find You.  To those who hunger and thirst, You give signs that will draw them slowly but surely to Yourself.  Many may know about You but they are not interested in encountering You.  The wise men left the comfort of their homes when they saw the sign in the sky.  A new star that pointed to something great.  They undertook the journey into the unknown and they were led into Your Presence.  Those who lived in the same country knew about You but they had no desire to see You as the Magi did.  When they found You they fell on their knees and worshipped You.  After they had worshipped, they gave You gifts that indicated who You were and Your mission - gold, frankincense and myrrh.  Those who are led by You will never be disappointed nor will they ever be abandoned.  Your mighty protection is available to all who come to You to be saved.
