DAILY HOLY MASS READINGS:
My Beloved, You guard and protect Your Church and her members from evil. The enemy cannot enter. Satan cannot breach her defences for You not only stand at her gates You are her Gate. Only those who bear the marks of baptism and are sealed in Your sacraments, only the faithful, only those who love and practice virtue may enter. You fortify us with the Sacraments, You feed us with Your Body and You protect us with Your precious Blood.
She enjoys peace despite the lack of it around her because You, the Prince of Peace are her Bridegroom. As Your spouse she has her heart, mind, spirit and her entire being centred and focused on You, the Beloved, in her work and in her prayer, in her songs and in her Liturgy. She trusts You because she knows that she belongs to You utterly there is no part of her that does not bear the imprint of Your possession of her.
My Beloved, You said to the rich young man who called You good, "Why do you call me good, only one is good and He is God." Well, that young man did not know that he was right in doing so; because he did not know that he was speaking to God that day. True God and true Man whose goodness and kindness are everlasting.
The foolish will seek shelter in other men or riches or the rulers of this world. Your wise little ones hide in You. They shelter under Your wings and the snuggle close to Your loving breast where they can hear and feel the steady beat of Your loving heart.
Gate of Justice open Your gates that I may enter. Thank You for having answered me every time I called. Thank You for rescuing me from the wiles and snares of the enemy. Thank You for the grace to resist the lure of temptation.
We walk in Your light which is the Light of Truth. You have dispelled all darkness and You have saved and delivered us. We who live in the house of God unite our praises with those of the angels and the saints who glorify You ceaselessly before Your throne.
My Beloved, here is the key to all who wish to enter heaven. They must do Your will in all things. They must seek to know it first and then follow it no matter where it may lead even to the foot of the Cross and on the Cross as well if You will it. The perfect example You have set for us along with Yourself, is our own Mama Mary who said, "I am the handmaid of the Lord, let it be done to me according to Your Word." Mary always said yes. Her entire life was yes to all that God desired of her.
All who enter the house built on Peter the Rock, have You as the Cornerstone. The gates of hell will not prevail against Your House, the Church founded on Peter the Rock and the Apostles. Satan has tried mightily to bring her down from within and without and all his wiles, ploys, snares, guiles and traps are set ceaselessly to prey upon her children. He even succeeds because many of them are ignorant and foolish. But the victory is already won and the Church stands strong and invincible as she triumphantly lives the life You pour upon her, in her and through he. She shines Your light as a beacon on a hilltop. Anyone who sees her light, desires to follow her and live in her perfect peace are welcome to do so.
