FEAST OF CHRIST THE KINGS

"---- Mine, I have come in order that You may have life and have it to the full.  Do not sleep with the dead but rise up and walk among the living.  Be filled with My Spirit.  Be filled with My Love.  Be filled with My Grace.  Receive of the abundance that I wish to give you, open your heart to every treasure I desire to pour into it; pressed down, shaken together and running over."

This prophecy of Daniel 200 years before You were sent into the world to save it was given to the people of God who were exiled far away from home and whose hearts longed to return.  This prophecy was intended to remind the people that God is King and that all nations are ruled by Him.  He is a just King and His Kingdom is an everlasting Kingdom.

Today my Beloved, as the world sinks deeper and deeper into sin and those who believe are alienated and isolated more and more each day, this prophecy brings hope to them as well.  Your Kingdom is an everlasting Kingdom everthing else will come to an end, the world as we know it will end and You will come again with power and majesty to claim all the faithful and take them them home with You there to enjoy the vision of Your glory eternally.

Revelations 1:5-8,

My Beloved, ever since God the Father created us He intended for us to be gloriously happy with Him.  But we thwarted His plan so He had to come up with a way by which He would forever crush the power of sin and death and render them impotent.  He turned to You, His Beloved Son who had reposed in Him eternally.  He sent You in order that we may have an example of how He desired we should live.  So You came into the world, took upon Yourself the wretchedness of our sins and You washed us clean in Your most holy and precious Blood offered as a pleasing sacrifice to Your Father in expiation for our guilt.  You restored our relationship with the Father by grafting us on to Your Body.

When You come again in glory and majesty, You will receive all who have accepted Your salvation, redemption and sanctification and we will live with You in glory forever.

The Lord reigns, robed in majesty;
the Lord is girded with strength.
The world now is firm, it cannot be moved.
Your throne stands from long ago, O Lord,
from all eternity you are.
Your decrees can be trusted;
holiness dwells in your house
day after day without end, O Lord.

 Pilate had his hour when he could have chosen to walk on the side of Truth and he missed his moment.  So too each living soul is given a chance to choose You.  We may hear of You from different sources and we have the choice to accept or reject, believe or refuse to believe.  You will coerce no one, each is perfectly free to choose to walk in the light or in darkness.  Your teachings are clearly divine, Your works are divine, Your authority is divine.  You were sent by God the Father to give us a future and a hope.  Everyone like the good thief on the right is given a chance to choose to stand on the side of Truth and be saved.
