Ephesians 1:15-23, Psalm 8:2-7, Luke 12:18-12

DAILY HOLY MASS READINGS:

M--- Mine whenever there is a choice placed before you choose what is right, true, good and virtuous.  Choose what gives life and hope.  Your life is shaped by the choices you make.  All that you ask for you already possess, choose to draw from the full measure of grace you receive each day and use the gifts that are already yours for My glory.

It takes the divine Trinity to enable us to live whole and holy lives, the Father’s plan, the Son’s consent and the Spirit’s power to bring what the Triune God desires to completion.  The Father glorifies the Son for His perfect obedience to His will and the humility of the Son glorifies the Father because of all that His Father has accomplished through His obedience and the Holy Spirit is the power of God which is the love of God that pours itself  unendingly from Father to Son and Son to Father.  The Father who created us wants to draw us, His creatures into the divine  life and love of the Trinity and so He gave us Jesus, in Him and through Him we can be anything and everything God desires us to be if only we consent to imitate His Son.  Once we say yes, He generously pours upon us His Holy Spirit so our yes becomes a reality and we possess the inheritance God has given us in His Son making us co-heirs with Him.

Beloved, God has put all things under Your feet, since we the Church are the members of Your Body then in placing all authority under Your feet, it can be understood that all authority has been placed in the Church You founded. The successor of Peter acts as Your visible head an under the feet of Peter who serves is placed all authority – the same authority that God conferred on You, You conferred on Your Church.

WOW!  Verse 7 says perfectly what I have tried to say so imperfectly earlier.

You made him rule over the works of your hands;
you have put all things under his feet –

The members of the one, holy, Catholic and Apostolic Church possesses the fullness of Truth, beauty, goodness and love for she is Your Bride and You have adorned her with all that is Yours even to the extent of placing Your authority under the feet of Peter the visible head of Your Church that You have redeemed and sanctified with Your life and Your Blood.

Beloved, Your bride the Church has not flinched from speaking, preaching and teaching the Truth and when You come in glory You will present her to God without stain or wrinkle for Your Holy Spirit resides in her and pours upon her every grace and all the courage and strength she needs to speak boldly, courageously and always the Truth the whole truth and nothing but the truth.
