Romans 8:18-25, Luke 13:18-21, Psalm 126:1-6

Daily Mass Readings:  Romans 8:18-25, Luke 13:18-21,  Psalm 126:1-6

Romans 8:18-25

24 In hope we already have salvation. But if we saw what we hoped for, there would no longer be hope: how can you hope for what is already seen? 25 So we hope for what we do not see and we will receive it through patient hope.

My Beloved, if we had no hope, we would be poor, sad creatures indeed.  It is hope that makes us joyful, it provides the strength to go on despite all the difficulties we face.  Hope helps us to keep our eye on the goal.  Faith in You gives us hope for Your Word is true.  Faith in Your love and the promise of eternity with You is hope.  With these three Lord, faith, hope and love we are greatly and blissfully happy for we know that in the end we will see you Face to face.

Luke 13:18-21

Beloved, the seed is Your Word planted in me, may it grow and spread so that many may find a place of shelter in me.  You are the yeast mixed in the everyday dough of my life - You enter every aspect of it as the yeast that is mixed in the dough and all that I am is touched by Your divinity.

Thank You.

Psalm 126:6

They went forth weeping,
bearing the seeds for sowing,
they will come home with joyful shouts,
bringing their harvested sheaves.
