Joel 1:13-15; 2:1-2

Beloved the prophet Joel reminds us of the day of reckoning.  Everyday, every hour it approaches ever nearer.  We must be prepared lest it overtake us suddenly and we will find ourselves unprepared if we do not  heed his warning.  Death will come like a thief in the night, if we have not kept watch and stood ready at its approach.

Luke 11:15-26

Beloved, I am humbled by the immensity of Your faithfulness.  Satan has been overcome and he has lost the battle however he continues to deceive.  We live in the age of the Kingdom of God, we have been armed by You and we are strong in the strength of God.  We shall not be overcome, Your Church is awake, she stands well armed and well guarded, her walls are well fortified and reinforced by the power of God and she has Your assurance that the gates of hell shall never prevail against.

As the end of the ages draws to a close, the battle lines are drawn and all who are on Your side will work to remove the chains of slavery to sin and evil and we will break free for the ransom is paid and we are justified in You as adopted children of the Most High God for we are grafted into Your Body.  Thank You.

Psalm 9:2-3, 6

Let my heart give thanks to the Lord, I yearn to proclaim your marvelous deeds, and rejoice and exult in you, and sing praise to your name, O Most High.
You have turned back the nations; you have destroyed the wicked; you have blotted out their names forever.
