Mark 9:22-24, Deuteronomy 31:1-8, Matthew 18:1-5, 10, 12-14, Deuteronomy 32:3-4, 7-9, 12

Daily Meditation:  Mark 9:22-24

Mark 9:22-24
.
If you can do anything, have pity on us and help us.”
23 Jesus said to him, “Why do you say: ‘If you can?’ All things are possible for one who believes.” 24 Immediately the father of the boy cried out, “I do believe, but help the little faith I have.”

Beloved, the father of that poor possessed son by a dumb spirit pleaded with You saying, "If you can do anything have pity on us and help us."  You responded by saying, "Why do you say: 'If you can?"  For with You my God all things are possible.  I too often come to You and pray in the same way.  My faith is weak.  Increase my faith, my hope, and my love for You each day.  "I do believe my Lord, help my unbelief."

Daily Mass Readings:  Deuteronomy 31:1-8, Matthew 18:1-5, 10, 12-14,
                                Deuteronomy 32:3-4, 7-9, 12

Deuteronomy 31:1-8

My Beloved I accept today the blessing and the promises made by Moses to Joshua and Your people, as if they were made to me.  I draw comfort and strength from Your words..

Matthew 18:1-5

The virtue most pleasing to You, the Father and the Holy Spirit is the virtue of humility which is greatly lacking in most people Lord including me.  If I could see myself as You see me I would be more than humble seeing what a poor, unworthy sinner I am.  Teach me Beloved to be kind gentle and patient with all specially those that the rich and powerful and the worldly are normally blind to.  Give me a sensitive and generous heart and a caring and loving spirit.

Thank You for reminding me that You will seek the lost and find  them no matter how far they roam and bring them back into the fold.
