Daily Meditation: Romans 8:9-10

Romans 8:9-10

9 Yet your existence is not in the flesh, but in the spirit, because the Spirit of God is within you. If you did not have the Spirit of Christ, you would not belong to him. 10 But Christ is within you; though the body is branded by death as a consequence of sin, the spirit is life and holiness.

M--- mine, you belong to me.  Do not doubt it.  I have claimed you in Baptism, I feed and nourish you with my Body, I have confirmed you and strengthened you in the power of the Holy Spirit in the Sacrament of Confirmation.  I forgive your sins and restore you to grace in the Sacrament of Reconciliation.  I am closer to you than you are to yourself.  My Spirit is within you and if my Spirit is in you, what need is there to fear?  Believe in Me, hope in Me and trust Me.  Your heartbeat and Mine beat in unison, My Heart is yours and yours is Mine.

Have faith in My Love, believe in My love.

Acts 19:5-6

5 Upon hearing this, they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus. 6 Then Paul laid his hands on them and the Holy Spirit came down upon them; and they began to speak in tongues and to prophesy.

Make me a channel of Your peace, Your love, Your hope, Your power, Your strength, Your joy, Your comfort and Your Holy Presence so whoever I encounter will encounter You in me.  Amen.

  

John 16:33

 "I have told you all this, so that in Me you may have peace.  You will have trouble in the world ; but courage! I have overcome the world."

Psalm 68:5-6

 5 Sing to God, sing praises to his name; open the way to him who rides upon the clouds; the Lord is his name. Rejoice in his presence.

6 Father of orphans and protector of widows – such is our God in his holy dwelling.

God's Promise to me today in Christ Jesus.

Isaiah 54:13
