Psalm 27:13

I hope, I am sure, that I will see the goodness of the Lord in he land of the living.  Trust in the Lord, be strong and courageous - yes, put your hope in the Lord.

Micah 7:19

Beloved, there is no God like You O God.  You are the God of infinite and tender pity, mercy and compassion.  This is because You love us and You never forget that we are created by You.  You know that we are weak and prone to sin because of the disobedience of our first parents and You make available to Your sheep, every grace, blessing and gift to enable us remain faithful.  Should we fall, You are ready to take us back home through the Sacrament of Mercy & Reconciliation.   Verse 19 is so expressive of Your forgiving love.   19 Once again you will show us your loving kindness and trample on our wrongs, casting all our sins into the depths of the sea.

Luke 15:2
But the Pharisees and the scribes frowned at this, muttering. “This man welcomes sinners and eats with them.” So Jesus told them this parable:

Beloved, it is only those who know and admit that they are tax collectors and sinners can approach You, confident of finding a place at Your table.  Those who refuse to admit there is such a thing as sin or scoff at its reality are treading dangerous ground for without repentance and contrition there can be no forgiveness.

Psalm 103:1-4, 9-12
