Proverbs 19:21
Plans abound in the human heart, but only the Lord's purpose will be realized.

Exodus 17:6
"You will strike the rock and water will flow from it and the people will drink."

You are the Rock that was struck and from Your side Beloved gushed forth streams of Living Water and our thirst is forever quenched in You.

John 4:10, 14, 21, 23-24, 26, 34, 42
Verse 10  " If you only knew the Gift of God! If you knew who it is that asks you for a drink, you yourself would have asked me and I would have give you living water."
Verse 14 "Those who drink of the water that I shall give will never be thirsty again; for the water that I shall give will become in them a spring of water welling up to eternal life.|"
Verse 21 "The hour is coming."
Verse 23 "The hour is coming."
Verse 24 "God is spirit and truth and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth."
Verse 26 Jesus said, "I who am talking to you, I AM HE."
Verse 34” 34 Jesus said to them, “My food is to do the will of the One who sent me and to carry out his work."
Verse 42  and they said to the woman, “We no longer believe because of what you told us; for we have heard for ourselves and we know that this is the Savior of the world.”

Beloved, Jews despise Samaritans and the Samaritans returned the favor in equal measure.  With You however, no one is beyond the realm of Your mercy and compassion as we see in this beautiful encounter between You and the Samaritan woman at the well.  She is nameless as she represents all sinners.  When she woke up that morning little did she dream that her whole life would be turned upside down after her meeting with You.

You revealed many truths to this woman and later to the people of that town.  You told her that from You alone we could receive eternal life.  You revealed to her that the hour of our salvation was approaching swiftly and surely when Truth would be revealed and right worship, pleasing to God would be offered to Him through You, His Son, in the celebration of the Holy Eucharist.  You revealed that You are the Messiah the One sent to save all men.  To do the will of Your Father meant food and drink to You.  May it be so for us too who pledge to follow You.

All of us first believe through what we are taught but it becomes effective when each of us has our own personal encounter and conversion experience with You - it is then that our lives are forever transformed,
