2 Kings 5:1-15, Psalm 42:2-3, 43:3-4, Luke 4:24-30

Daily Holy Mass Readings:  2 Kings 5:1-15, Psalm 42:2-3, 43:3-4,
                                                        Luke 4:24-30

2 Kings 5:1-15

Naaman'syoung servant girl spoke a word of hope:

Verse 2
One day some Aramean soldiers raided the land of Israel and took a young girl captive who became a servant to the wife of Naaman. She said to her mistress, “If my master would only present himself to the prophet in Samaria, he would surely cure him of his leprosy.”

Verse 10, 13 & 14
  10 Elisha then sent a messenger to tell him, “Go to the river Jordan and wash seven times, and your flesh shall be as it was before, and you shall be cleansed.”
 Verse 13  Take a bath and Ou will be cleansed.
14 So Naaman went down to the Jordan where he washed himself seven times as Elisha had ordered. His skin became soft like that of a child and he was cleansed.

What the waters of Jordan did for Naaman the waters of baptism does for us sinners who are born again and grafted on to Your Body.  Baptized in the Name of the Trinity we too are cleansed.

If we are obedient to God's Word - JESUS, He will honor His Word and give us all He has promised and more.

Psalm 42:2-3, 43:3-4
As a deer longs for flowing streams,
so my soul longs for you, O God.
My soul thirsts for God, for the living God.
When shall I go and see the face of God?

 Psalm 43:3-4
Send forth your light and your truth;
let them be my guide,
let them take me to your holy mountain,
to the place where you reside.

Teach me Lord to hunger and thirst for the coming of the Kingdom on earth and grant me the grace to do all that You will me to do to make it happen.

Luke 4:24-30

28 On hearing these words, the whole assembly became indignant. 29 They rose up and brought him out of the town, 30 to the edge of the hill on which Nazareth is built, intending to throw him down the cliff. But he passed through their midst and went his way.

The evil that resides in the human heart cannot bear to face the Truth and they will do all in their power to crush and annihilate it.  They will crucify it and watch it with malicious glee as it writhes and dies.  They will torment it and curse it with a ferocity that is breathtaking in the vile vitriol that it spews.  It's cunning is the cunning of Satan who makes a lie morph into the truth and so devours so many weak and willing victims.

 18 In the meantime, all the people witnessed the thunder and lightning and heard the blast of the trumpet and saw the mountain smoking. They trembled with fear and kept at a distance.

My Beloved, never has there been an intimacy as that between You and us,  we touch You, we taste You, we eat You and You make us one with You.  There is no love like Your love my Lord.

You are my God - I am Your to command always.

John 2:13-25

My Lord, there was a time my soul and my body was a market place for evil and corruption but You scoured it with Your Passion, Death, Resurrection and Ascencion - I died in You and I have risen in You. PRAISE THE LORD!!!!!
