Matthew 5:46-58, Matthew 6:8, Psalm 94:18-19, Mark 8:14-21

Daily Meditation: Matthew 5:46-58, Matthew 6:8

& Holy Mass Readings:  Psalm 94:18-19, Mark 8:14-21

Matthew 5:46-58, Matthew 6:8

"M--- Mine, 46 if you love those who love you, what is special about that? Do not even tax collectors do as much? 47 And if you are friendly only to your friends, what is so exceptional about that? Do not even the pagans do as much? 48 For your part you shall be righteous and perfect in the way your heavenly Father is righteous and perfect.
And always remember that Your Father knows what you need, even before you ask Him."

"My Beloved, with the help of Your Holy Spirit and the love of the Father and through Your abiding Presence in me, I will strive to be all that You want me to be."

Psalm 94:18-19

"18 No sooner did I say, “My foot is slipping,” your kindness, O Lord, held me up.
19 The more worries and trouble assailed me, the more you consoled me."

My Beloved, this has always been my experience of You.

Mark 8:14-21

Are there times when I exasperate You too my Beloved as the apostles did.  I am sorry when I seem thick headed and obtuse sometimes.  You are God and with You all things are possible.  There is nothing You won't do for us whom You love so much.  You gave up Your life for us. I believe that You will hold back no good thing from those who love You and are committed to loving and serving You always.

Psalm 36:6, 8-10, Psalm 119:67, 71, 76

Daily Inspiration:  Psalm 36:6, 8-10, Psalm 119:67, 71, 76

Psalm 36:6, 8-10,

"6 My Beloved Your love, O God, reaches the heavens; your faithfulness, to the clouds.
How precious, O God, is your constant love! Mortals take refuge in the shadow of your wings.  In your house they find rich food and they  drink  from your  spring of delight.
10 For with you is the fountain of life, in your light we see light."

"---- Mine, in My House, in My Word and in Me, you will find all you will ever need to live a life pleasing to My Father and to Me.  Remain in Me, rest in My Word, come to me and you will be refreshed.  It is I who feed you and lead you into green pastures where you may have your fill.  Where your hunger is fed and your thirsty soul is quenched.  Do not wander from Me for evil waits to lure you into its snare.  Pray always and trust me.  You have no need to be afraid."

Psalm 119:67, 71, 76

67 Before I was afflicted I went astray, but now I obey your word.
71 It is good for me to have been afflicted, for I have deeply learned your statutes.
76 Comfort me then with your unfailing love, as you promised your servant.

"Beloved, how true it is that before I was afflicted I was far away from You. In suffering I was brought to my knees and on my knees I found You stooping down from heaven and encircling me and comforting me.  Thank You."
