My Soul's Beloved,
I know that every trial that I receive is only to strengthen me, to strengthen my faith, and to purify me. I can have real empathy for others only when I understand their struggles because they were my struggles too.
The wilderness is a place where we get to know our true selves. All our weaknesses rise to the surface and recognizing that without You we are nothing and can do nothing we surrender our whole lives to You. It is only in complete surrender that we are truly free to become children of God.
You supply every grace and blessing we need as sojourners from this life to eternity in the Kingdom of God. The people of God received manna from heaven and quails to satisfy their hunger, but You O Lord, give us Your Flesh to eat, and Your Blood to drink so we will not fall and perish by the wayside. Thank You also for Your Living Word that gives us life.
Keep us humble. Keep us attentive to Your Holy Spirit within us and grant that we do nothing to grieve Him but in all things listen and obey. True happiness is possible in this life when we remain united to You.
1 CORINTHIANS 10:16-17 ©
My Soul's Beloved,
You instituted the Sacrament of the Holy Eucharist on the night before You gave Yourself up as the one, holy, perfect, and only acceptable Sacrifice to the Father in atonement for my sins and the sins of the world. This world is in the clutches of the Enemy - we have only to look at the culture today, to see the divisions, to see the lies being spread by the Father of Lies and Deceit, to know that never has this been truer than in our age.
This is why O Lord, we need to eat Your Flesh, we need to drink Your Blood daily if we are to be preserved from the snares of the Deceiver and the Liar.
When we are united with You and with one another in the power of the Holy Spirit we are invincible. Thank You, Beloved, that Holy Mother Church supplies the Heavenly Manna through Your anointed Bishops and priests. As long as the Eucharistic Sacrifice which was offered once on Calvary and is re-presented to the Father from the rising of the sun to its setting, perfect praise will rise up to the highest heavens as a pleasing fragrance before God and the righteous wrath of God will not annihilate this evil and wicked generation.

My Soul's Beloved,
Heaven and earth touch at every Eucharistic Celebration and since this holy, and perfect Sacrifice is offered to the Father from the rising of the sun to its setting - God stoops low from heaven and constantly caresses us who receive the Flesh and Blood of the Son of Man. We need this supernatural life if we are to safely navigate the perilous journey from this life to the next.
‘I am the living bread which has come down from heaven.
Anyone who eats this bread will live forever;
and the bread that I shall give is my flesh,
for the life of the world.’
and the bread that I shall give is my flesh,
for the life of the world.’
To this day there are many who like the Jews argue ad infinitum, ad nauseam, and say like those heretics, ‘How can this man give us his flesh to eat?’
Speaking to their hardened hearts You reiterate again and again:
‘I tell you most solemnly,
if you do not eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink his blood,
you will not have life in you.
Anyone who does eat my flesh and drink my blood
has eternal life,
and I shall raise him up on the last day.
For my flesh is real food
and my blood is real drink.
He who eats my flesh and drinks my blood
lives in me
and I live in him.
As I, who am sent by the living Father,
myself draw life from the Father,
so whoever eats me will draw life from me.
This is the bread come down from heaven;
not like the bread our ancestors ate:
they are dead,
but anyone who eats this bread will live forever.’
We deny ourselves the Bread of Angels to our own spiritual ruin. What is even more heart-wrenching is that Catholics receive the Eucharist carelessly and You, My Beloved, humbly come into our poor, sinful souls anyway. Thank You.
My prayer today, O Lord, is that members of my own family make a good confession, get their spiritual house in order and return to the Sacraments and receive the innumerable blessings and graces that You long to pour into their hearts and hearts so they can live the super-abundant life.
