JUDGES 9:6-15 ©

My Soul's Beloved,

We have one King, one Lord, one Ruler, one Judge over all the world and that King is You, the only Son of the Living God, there is no other.

Grant us this grace O Lord, all the days of our life, that we shall place no creature or created thing in Your place. You alone are worthy of all our worship, all our love, and all our praise. Keep us from setting up idols in whatever shape or form they may be and guard us against giving anything or anyone other than You the primary place in our heart and life.

Worship of anything or anyone other than God alone is setting up worthless idols that will cause our eternal destruction. Keep us faithful O Lord for eternal life. Amen.

PSALM 21:2-7 ©

My Soul's Beloved,

We have one King, one Lord, one Savior - to You the Father has given all authority and all rule. To You alone must we submit in loving obedience for this is what the Father wills for all His children.

You are the answer to all our prayers. You alone have the power to raise up the lowly, to comfort the sorrowful, to cheer those who are crushed by the weight of the world.

You are our strength, our song, our deliverer, our helper, our Lord, and our God. It is You who save Your people and it is You who remain with us all the days of our life.

Thank You for Your faithfulness and for Your immense love for us. Grant us the grace to never fail in giving You all that is due to You as our Lord and our King.

MATTHEW 20:1-16 ©

My Soul's Beloved,

It is our duty to spend our lives in establishing the Kingdom of God on earth - this is our mission as Christians we have no other duty. No matter what our vocation is in this life the purpose is to establish Your reign on earth.

Each one receives this call to establish God's Kingdom at various stages in our lives the important thing is to respond to that call when we receive it. Some are graced in spending their entire lives in the service of Your Kingdom while some of us come at a later stage, what finds favor in Your sight is not how long we have served You but how faithfully, lovingly, and generously we have done so with no thought of reward. In fact, we should all rejoice that in the end, the eternal reward for all is beholding You face to face and worshipping You eternally.
