Isaiah 66:10-14C

My Love, Beloved of my soul,

Holy Mother Church is where we, her children are loved, cherished, fed, taught, strengthened, disciplined, forgiven, and trained for spiritual battle. We thank You, Beloved, for the Church You founded on the Apostles and for the fullness of Truth that is found in her. The Holy Spirit makes His home in her and His Wisdom guides her leaders. Your invisible Presence as her Head keeps her safe from the wiles of the Enemy. This is the Father's will, that all His children who are members of Your Body, who are joined to You as branches to the vine will thrive, for we are nourished and sustained by Your Body and Blood welling up to eternal life.

Psalm 66:1-7, 16-20

My Love, Beloved of my soul,

As the psalmist exhorts in the verses of this psalm we are called to be a people of joy and praise. We are called to witness to the wonderful deeds that You have done for us beginning with the gift of life and the joy of being baptized and grafted into Your Body.

The most effective way to evangelize is to tell the world what You have done for us, how You have blessed us, how Your ear is always inclined to listen to us, and how You have saved us. We must speak of the hope we have that sin, suffering, death, and the grave do not have the last word; You, O Eternal Word do.

Galatians 6:14-18

My Love, Beloved of my soul,

Weak creatures that we are we boast about silly things. We contort ourselves in trying to compete with each other in order to amass material things. But St. Paul tells us that the only boast we ought to make is the boast of the Your Cross on which You purchased the redemption of all humankind.

St. Paul says that he bore Your marks on his body. We bear the seal of the Holy Spirit in our soul. Thank You for the new life we receive in the Sacrament of Reconciliation. Thank You for sealing us in Your Precious Blood and in the Holy Spirit.

Thank You, Father, for counting me among those who have received the free gift of faith in Your Son through Baptism. I believe in Him and believing, I, together with all God's people, are saved through grace.

Luke 10:1-9

My Love, Beloved of my soul,

Just like the seventy-two, You appointed to go ahead of You to prepare for Your coming so too are we given the same mission. Grafted into Your Body in Baptism, Confirmed and Sealed in the Holy Spirit, we are equipped, strengthened, and nourished daily at the Eucharistic Table in order to fulfill this mission. May we, like the seventy-two, preach the Good News with our lives and thus draw many to believe in You and be saved.
