Acts 17:15, 22---18:1

My Love, Beloved of my soul,

We are not called to work in isolation but as a community serving God's people as one body within the Church. We must be sensitive to the needs and respond to the call; doing what is asked of us generously, gladly, willingly, obediently, and above all with humility.

There are some whom God calls to be leaders as they have been given this charism as Paul was. We must be prepared to serve in the capacity that is suited to our gifts and talents. There must be harmony between those who serve and those who are served. We must be prepared to step out of our comfort zone when we are invited to do say and discerning God's call we must always say yes.

The Acts of the Apostles are a wonderful testament of all that the Spirit of God can do with those who are willing to take You at Your Word.

Psalm 148:1-2, 11-14

My Love, Beloved of my soul,

On earth, we are called to begin what we will do eternally in heaven - praise God always. In the Holy Mass, the priest says, "It is truly right and just, our duty and our salvation always and everywhere to give you thanks, Father of holiness, Lord of heaven and earth, through our Lord Jesus Christ." Lord God, grant that no matter what the circumstances of my life, that I may always be inspired to praise You for You are worthy of all praise.

John 16:12-15

My Love, Beloved of my soul,

You know how weak we are. How hard of understanding and You are aware that we need divine assistance in order to progress on the Way. You understood the limitations of the disciples and were always gentle with them. You did not have greater expectations from them than they could possibly meet. This is wisdom and prudence.  It would help us greatly in our relationships if we exercised these virtues as well.

Thank You for knowing how much help we would need and for asking the Father to send us Your Holy Spirit. Thank You for all the Gifts that He brings and for the grace that is poured into our hearts through the Sacraments.  The only reason we can praise and glorify You is because we have been given the Spirit. Thank You, Beloved.
