DAILY HOLY MASS READINGS
The Word of God became flesh and made his dwelling among us;
and we saw his glory. Jn 1:14AB
Isaiah 7:10-14, 8:10, Psalm 40:7-11,
Hebrews 10:4-10, Luke 1:26-38
Isaiah 7:10-14, 8:10
Dear Love, Beloved of my soul,
God is constantly giving us signs that point to deeper spiritual realities. You are the greatest Sign that the Father sent into the world, a Sign that pointed to the immense love that He has for His wayward children. The Cross is the greatest Sign that witnesses to the Your love for Your Father and for His Sake You love us and You redeemed us. Mary's conceiving of the Divine Child in her womb is a sign that every promise God ever made is fulfilled in the surrendering of her will to the will and plan of God.
All these are profound signs of God's abiding love for us, His presence in us, and in the world.
It is therefore quite understandable when the prophet reveals God's impatience with Ahaz's hypocritical response to His request to ask for a sign no matter how impossible that sign would be. If a sign is given then we have to receive it, understand it, accept it, and allow it to transform our lives. Thankfully Beloved, God saw through Ahaz's ruse and gave us the Sign anyway.
"...the virgin shall be with child, and bear a son,
and shall name him Emmanuel,
which means "God is with us!"
Psalm 40:7-11
Dear Love, Beloved of my soul,
Long before You were conceived in Mary's womb, the psalmist spoke so compellingly about You and Your redeeming work of salvation as willed by the Father.
Nothing pleases You more Beloved than our obedience to Your will. To discern Your will and then do it promptly and joyfully ought to always be our most fitting response to it.
If only I could say as You did, "To do your will, O my God, is my delight." More often than not it is hard to say align my will to Yours. But You provide all the grace that is necessary if we desire to do it
Thank You, Beloved, for coming into the world and for revealing to us the Father's love. Thank You for healing the breach caused by original sin. Thank You for opening the Gate to the Kingdom of God.
Hebrews 10:4-10
Dear Love, Beloved of my soul,
Thank You for the Sacrifice of Yourself on the Cross. Thank You for the shedding of Your Most Precious Blood that takes away all sin. Thank You for giving Your Body to us as Food and Your Blood to us as Drink. Thank You for forever and for all time becoming the means by which we are strengthened and satisfied at the Eucharistic table.
Thank You dearest, Mother Mary, for providing a Body for the Son of God so He could offer it for the salvation of the world.
Luke 1:26-38
Dear Love, Beloved of my soul,
Today in Your Word to me You asked me to say yes to Your plan for my life.

Luke 1:26-38
Dear Love, Beloved of my soul,
Today in Your Word to me You asked me to say yes to Your plan for my life.
Today is a day to say Yes in imitation of Mary, Your Mother and through Your graciousness, ours as well.
I have said yes Beloved, now I ask for the grace to live it out day by day, moment by moment until time for me shall be no more. Help me. If You do not carry me. If You do not hold my hand. If You do not lend me Your strength to lean on I will not make it. You have invited me Beloved, this is why I trust You to help me to live out my yes to the end.
