The Son of Man came to serve
and to give his life as a ransom for many. Mk 10:45

Zechariah 8:20-23
Dear Love, Beloved of my soul,
Thank You for the word of the prophet today who assures us that there is always hope. Our world is a fallen world even though it is redeemed by You. The fault of the original sin continues to wreck our world for there are many who do not believe in You, are not baptized, and are therefore ruled by the world, the culture of the world, and the passion of the flesh, the emotions, and the gospel of gratifying every desire that is preached with such passion by all who use their power to persuade the world that denial of the flesh, is a sin.
We live in a world gone askew. And we ask Lord, how much longer? But the prophet gives us hope. The remnant though small in number will continue to pray, intercede, and believe that You have truly overcome the world. Sin will not have the last word for You, the Living Word, the Eternal Word of the Father, the Word of God made Flesh and dwells among us, has prevailed marvelously and we are saved.
Psalm 87:1-7
Dear Love, Beloved of my soul,
Truly You are with us. You are the sure foundation, the Rock, on which we the Church are built. We are the New Jerusalem, Zion is here in our midst and God dwells with His people. You make Your sanctuary with us. You make Your home in our hearts,in our tabernacles, in our souls. You are truly, God with us, Emmanuel.
We are the Church, the city on the hilltop where the Light of God shines on a world growing increasingly dark. All who look to You are saved, just as those who looked at the bronze serpent in the desert was saved. Thank You for the Cross that saves us. The whole world will come to know You every one will come to understand that there is salvation in no other but in You. We will rally around Your call to holiness and perfection because we are made in Your image and likeness for Love has prevailed and will prevail to the end.
Luke 9:51-56
Dear Love, Beloved of my soul,
We too are on a journey from this life to the life to come. You kept Your face resolutely towards Jerusalem and You were aware of all that awaited You there but You were unflinching in Your mission. This is why You came into the world - to pay the ransom with Your life and to redeem us unworthy as we are with Your Blood. For only the Blood of the Lamb without stain or blemish could atone for the heinous sin that caused our eternal separation from God.
When those who in ignorance refuse to accept You as their Lord and Savior, like the people in the Samaritan village, You continue to show mercy. For as long as there is breath in our body, as long as this today lasts, You give us a chance to repent, believe, and be saved.
We pray for the world, we pray for all those in it who through ignorance of You live wicked lives and spread the evil of their ways to the ignorant. This is why You have called every one who is baptized to go out to ends of the earth and spread the Good News of our salvation.
Grant me the grace to do my part Beloved, no matter how small it may be and in the end may I hear You say, "Well done good and faithful servant." Help me Lord. Help me!
