THE BRIDE OF CHRIST IS ONE, HOLY CATHOLIC & APOSTOLIC |
My Beloved, we are all called to keep our house in order for we do not know the day nor the hour when we will be called to stand before You as our Judge.
You hear our prayers, You see our tears and You hear and answer us. We do not cry out to You in vain. Moved with compassion You act on our behalf to save us, defend us and support us when we are weak.
To our request for a sign, the Father points to You, the Sign of Contradiction, the Sign of the Cross from whence flows life in abundance.
Isaiah 38:10-12, 16
My Beloved, before Your incarnation, before You came into the world in fulfillment of every prophecy made by God, people were afraid of death because it meant that with the end of life there was nothing. This is why death was the dreaded enemy. But You came into the world and with Your Passion, Death, Resurrection and Ascension in to heaven revealing to us that our life on earth is but a preparation for the glorious life in eternity that awaits all the children of God who have accepted You, believe in You are granted the gift of everlasting with You in heaven.
Matthew 12:14-21
My Beloved, the enemies of the Church do not sleep but are constantly looking to get rid of her through fair means and foul. They enact unjust laws they misrepresent Your teachings which she upholds. They seek to tarnish her image by holding up the sins of a few as representing the whole. They ignore the heroic lives of holiness lived by the many saints, they ignore the wonderful work she does in the world in caring for the sick, the dying, the poor, the marginalized and the destitute. They are woefully ignorant of what the Church stands for, Who established her and why she will withstand all attacks on her and will continue to transmit Your Light in the world as Your city set on a hilltop.
You are the Bridegroom of the Church who is holy because through Your merit she is made holy. Holy Mother Church has her arms open wide to the world as she gently invites all the sick, the wounded, the sick and the dying to come to her, receive Your life and Your Spirit and become one with You through her.
