34th Day in Lent
Fear not! I am with you. I walk with you, I remain in you. You belong to Me - you are Mine. No harm shall come to you, evil will not overtake you. Remain in Me as I remain in you. Believe Me and Trust Me!
Psalm 22:25c
He has not hidden his face
from me but has listened when I cried to him.

Ezekiel 37:21-28
It is God who gathers His people, His children, baptized into His Son and who establishes His Church and sanctifies it through His Holy Spirit. God makes His dwelling place in this human sanctuary and lives among His people from the time of the Apostles. It is here that the Light of Truth in the Eternal Word dwells in His Fullness and has established an everlasting Covenant of Love forged on the Cross and made present in the Eucharist. This is the people He shepherds through His vicar on earth, the successor of Peter who unites people from every land, nation, race, language and color and whom He feeds and strengthens on His Word and on His Body and Blood at every celebration of the Holy Mass. This is His Church, His people, His spouse, His Kingdom.
Jeremiah 31:10-13
We have Your Word my Beloved that You will gather us all together. All whom You have saved by the priceless Gift of Yourself on the Cross and in the shedding of Your Blood through Your life, passion, death and resurrection are now a royal priesthood, a holy nation a people set apart. We who accept You as our Lord and Savior are one in You. We worship the One God - Father, Son and Holy Spirit in whom we abide and under whose reign we will live forever.
John 11:45-50
My Beloved, it ought to follow naturally that on seeing we believe and many who witness the raising of Lazarus to live had to believe because God alone has the power to give and restore life. From this miracle it is evident that You had divine power yet many chose to ignore the truth and to destroy it because their own little hide bound world where they wielded power and were respected was threatened, The world as they knew it was under the Roman yoke which they suddenly found preferable to living in the Light of Truth.
We too prefer the comfort of our weaknesses and sins; if we allowed ourselves to be challenged we would have to change and we would rather wallow in the pig pen of sin than soar on the wings of an eagle and taste the delights of Truth.
