Daily Meditation: Proverbs 31: 25-26
Proverbs 31:20, 25-26
20 She reaches out her hand to the helpless and gives to the poor.
25 She is strong and dignified and looks with confidence to the future.
26 She speaks wisely and her words are kind.
My Beloved may I be like this woman described in these verses, ready to reach out to the helpless and poor, just like You have done so often for me. With the power of Your Spirit may I be strong, dignified and keep my gaze on the future with confident hope aware that You are always with me. Finally, grant me the wisdom to be gentle and kind always in my speech and my actions. These gifts I ask of You today my beloved, my Spouse, my King, my Lord and my God.
