Isaiah 63:16-17, 19; 64:2-7

Abba Father, thank You for these beautiful verses that You speak through the lips of the prophet Isaiah.  You are my Father and I am your poor sinful child who You cannot and will  not abandon.  Draw me closer to Yourself and may I never separate myself from You through serious sin.  Keep me beloved Father as the apple of Your eye.

1 Corinthians 1:3-9

Here again my Life, is a reconfirmation of all You have done for me.  You have given me all I need.  You  have chosen me, You have called me and Your Holy Spirit and love will sustain me until You call me home to be united with You eternally.

Mark 13:33-27

My Beloved Jesus, You want all to be saved and You remind us once again to remain awake alert and watchful.  The world, the flesh and the Devil insidiously crawl upon us and we become weak and prone to giving in to temptation.  We are easily distracted by the baubles offered by the world and the sinful  lives of those whom it deems beautiful and worth emulating.  But true beauty is poles apart from the standards set by the world.  True beauty is the Light and the Life that comes from the indwelling of Your Holy Spirit within us.

Psalm 80:18-19

18 But lay your hand on your instrument, on the son of man whom you make strong for yourself.
19 Then we will never turn away from you; give us life, and we will call on your name.
