Daily Mass Readings: Romans 1:16-25, Luke 11:37-41, Psalm 19:2-5
My Beloved, all these verses by St. Paul are an indictment on today's world. We have exchanged the Truth for a lie and there is a global self glorification and self aggrandizement of man who is straining every effort in idolising himself and worshipping before this idol.
There is no excuse for this collective idiocy which threatens to annihilate the world and plunge it into the depths of darkness in mind, body, soul and spirit. It may seem that evil has won the day however its triumph will be short lived. The end of evil will be catastrophic.
Beloved, almost all of us are hypocrites at some time or the other constantly pointing sanctimonious fingers at others and all the while we cover our own iniquities and faults. We make a great pretense at virtuous living forgetting all the while that You are God and You know and see everything. Nothing is hidden before You.
Psalm 19:2-5
2 The heavens declare the glory of God;
the firmament proclaims the work of his hands.
3 Day talks it over with day;
night hands on the knowledge to night.
4 No speech, no words, no voice is heard –
5 but the call goes on throughout the universe,
the message is felt to the ends of the earth.
