Micah 2:12-13

12 I shall assemble you, nation of Jacob, and gather the remnant of Israel. I will bring them together like sheep in a fold, like a flock in its pasture. 13 They have a leader in their midst. See: their king goes before them, Yahweh is heading them!

My Beloved, Your Church and its followers are spread far and wide across the world, yet You are in command and in control of all Your flock.  We are not so distant that we are unable to hear Your voice.  You lead and guide us wherever we are.  Your Voice is heard in the voice of Peter and his successors.  Your Voice is  heard in Scripture as interpreted by the Holy Spirit and by the Church.  You are present in her liturgies and in her Sacraments.  

There is a faithful remnant whose hearts and lives are constantly tuned to Your own  and there are many, many more who are Yours only in name.  Their hearts, lives and minds are far away from You but these too are Yours.  You have Your eye on each of them.  In time You will bring together the entire fold to the same pasture and there we will all be fed by You.

 All the nations of the world look at us and recognize that we have a leader in You and and a visible leader in the successor of Peter.  We hear the voice of our King and we obey.  It is the voice of God that continues to speak through the ages.  We recognize the voice of our Chief Shepherd and we follow.  One day You will take each of us to the Kingdom  and the place that has been prepared for Your faithful from eternity.

M--- mine I know each of my sheep by name.  I know what they need and I minister to each personally.  I care for the sick.  I feed the hungry and I seek and restore the lost.  I bandage the wounded, I carry the lame.  Many do not even know they belong to Me but I know they are mine.  They believe they are lost and alone but I know where they are.  When the time is right, I will reveal myself to them and I will lead them into my fold.  

The world hears my voice but only a few recognize it and obey.  These know their happiness depends in doing my will because they know they are safe in My love.  I will never push you ahead of Me.  I will walk before You, I will lead You, I will remove any obstacle that will impede Your progress and I will not permit the enemy to devour you.  Your salvation has already been won by Me.  You my child are Mine.

Beloved help me not to walk blindly ahead of You.  When faced with obstacles, let me stop, focus on You once again and follow closely behind You.
