Daily Meditation: Psalm 49:8-9
Psalm 49:8-9
8 For no ransom avails for one’s life,
there is no price one can give to God for it.
9 For redeeming one’s life
demands too high a price,
and all is lost forever.
Beloved, had God the Father not asked You to pay the ransom for our souls with Your life, we would have had no hope of heaven. There is no way that we could make atonement for our sins. We deserved to be eternally separated from God. Humanly speaking it is inconceivable that God would go to such lengths to redeem us, His sinful creatures, yet He sent You into the world, to become one like us in order that You might make of Yourself a sacrifice of atonement for our sins. No other sacrifice but the Sacrifice of Your life was able to make atonement for our sins.
Thank You Father, Son and Holy Spirit for redeeming me with the price of my Savior's bloody sacrifice on Calvary.

for with him at my right hand,
I will never be shaken.
