Isaiah 63:16,
-----You are our Father, from the beginning, You are our Redeemer, this is Your Name.
Beloved, how blessed we are to be able to call God our Father.  From all eternity He knew us, knew we would fall and the price that would be required of Him to save us.  His love and compassion for us won the day.  He planned from all eternity to demonstrate that love by sending You into the world to be the price that would save us.  Through Your life, bitter passion and agony and Your most glorious Resurrection, we have been saved.  You are now seated in glory at the right hand of the Father and have sent us Your Holy Spirit who is our Counselor.  How can we not but come to You now and eternally through grace?  Thank You.

Luke 11:29-32

The people did not recognize the time of Your visitation when You walked among them, unlike the people of Nineveh who repented and were saved.  We are the same my Beloved.  Despite all You have done for us and the Sacraments You make available to us,  we still turn our backs to You and refuse what You offer us so lavishly - grace, salvation and the abundant gifts of the Holy Spirit through the use of which His fruits are made manifest.
