King of the peoples
and cornerstone of the Church,
come and save man,
whom you made from the dust of the earth.

MALACHI 3:1-4,23-24

My Soul's Beloved,

Thank You for the hope we have in You. Thank You Abba for not abandoning your sinful children, thank You Abba for reaching out to us over and over again and pulling us out of the miry pit, from the deep dark waters, from complete and total destruction and separation from You, the Source of all Life and love.  O Lord Jesus Christ Son of the Living God because of You O Lord we have hope not only for ourselves and those we love but for the whole world O Lord Jesus Christ Son of the Living God You are the hope that never disappoints we look with joy to your coming again in glory Thank You for piercing the veil of time and coming to us in history, Thank You for Your presence with us I the world and for Your love that makes it possible for aYo to abide in us in our hearts, in our Tabernacles, In the Holy EUcharistic the food for our souls and the Bread of Angels that sustains us and without which the world would have long since perished While we wait in joyful hope for Your coming in glory Beloved for many of us it will take place when we close our eyes on this earth and open them in eternity to behold You in glory and majesty Keep us safe Belove for eternal life.

The Lord God says this: Look, I am going to send my messenger to prepare a way before me. And the Lord you are seeking will suddenly enter his Temple; and the angel of the covenant whom you are longing for, yes, he is coming, says the Lord of Hosts. Who will be able to resist the day of his coming? Who will remain standing when he appears? For he is like the refiner’s fire and the fullers’ alkali. He will take his seat as refiner and purifier; he will purify the sons of Levi and refine them like gold and silver, and then they will make the offering to the Lord as it should be made. The offering of Judah and Jerusalem will then be welcomed by the Lord as in former days, as in the years of old.

PSALM 24(25):4-5,8-9,10,14

Stand erect, hold your heads high, because your liberation is near at hand.

Lord, make me know your ways.
Lord, teach me your paths.
Make me walk in your truth, and teach me:
for you are God my saviour.

The Lord is good and upright.

He shows the path to those who stray,
He guides the humble in the right path,
He teaches his way to the poor.

His ways are faithfulness and love
for those who keep his covenant and law.
The Lord’s friendship is for those who revere him;
to them he reveals his covenant.

LUKE 1:57-66

My Soul's Beloved,

You are the God of the unexpected, You are God who never ceases to surprise us in the most wondrous ways. Your plans can never be thwarted and all that You desire to accomplish will be accomplished. You will break every barrier and overcome every hurdle and obstacle to ensure that every promise You have made will be realized and no one can block or thwart the blessings with which You desire to bless us, the Church, and the world.  

The precursor to the Son of Man was to be named John. His father, Zechariah was struck dumb by God for his disbelief, and when the baby's mother Elizabeth said that he was to be named John they refused to honor what God had ordained. But God's will and God's purposes for the lives of His people will surely come to pass. Zechariah confirmed by writing on a tablet, 'His name is John' and immediately his tongue was loosed and he was able to speak again.

When we obey You, Lord, when we keep Your commandments and allow our lives to be directed by Your Holy Spirit, our tongues will also be loosed and we will accomplish all that God desires. There is no greater joy than living in the shadow of the Most High, being directed by His Spirit, and walking in the Way of Truth. Keep us always in Your love, Beloved of my soul.

Now on the eighth day they came to circumcise the child; they were going to call him Zechariah after his father, but his mother spoke up. ‘No,’ she said ‘he is to be called John.’ They said to her, ‘But no one in your family has that name’, and made signs to his father to find out what he wanted him called. The father asked for a writing-tablet and wrote, ‘His name is John.’ And they were all astonished. At that instant his power of speech returned and he spoke and praised God. All their neighbours were filled with awe and the whole affair was talked about throughout the hill country of Judaea. All those who heard of it treasured it in their hearts. ‘What will this child turn out to be?’ they wondered. And indeed the hand of the Lord was with him.
