My Soul's Beloved,
It is said that we all have a God-shaped hole in our hearts, it's a space that nothing and none but You can fill. Try as we may to replace our hunger and thirst for the Living God with the world, the flesh, and the devil and we will remain unhappy and unsatisfied. You alone complete those who are called by Your Name, those who have been purchased for God by Your Blood.
You O Lord, are the image of the unseen God. God has made a visible, tangible, image of Himself in You. When we see You we see the Father, in the Spirit of God we live, move, and have our being in You, in God. Grafted to You in Baptism we become children of the Father and co-heirs with You to His Kingdom.
God raised You from the dead and we have hope of eternal life. We thank You, Lord, for sending us Your Holy Spirit, the Helper, who enables us to journey on the narrow and difficult way that leads to You - the Way, the Truth, and the Life. Thank You, Lord, for the hope we have in You of eternal life and eternal joy in Your glorious Presence with the Father, the Holy Spirit, Mother Mary, and all the angels and saints.

My Soul's Beloved,
You understand the human condition so well because You became like us in all things save sin. You know that we tire easily, we are easily discouraged. Sorrows weigh us down making it hard to hold on to hope. You understood that everything that was happening during Your last days before Your Passion and death was too overwhelming for Your disciples to grasp and comprehend so You reassured them kindly, tenderly, gently saying,
‘I still have many things to say to you
but they would be too much for you now.
But when the Spirit of truth comes
he will lead you to the complete truth.’
It is precisely because You sent the Holy Spirit on the Church that she is alive. It is in the Spirit that she continues to live, move, and have her being in You. The Holy Spirit abides in Your Bride in fullness, It is He who makes her fruitful and the Gifts of the Spirit abound in her.
Thank You, Beloved, for sharing with us all that Your Father has given You. The more we empty ourselves the greater the room we have to receive all that You wish to give us through the Holy Spirit.
