DAILY HOLY MASS READINGS

I am the Way, the Truth and the Life, says the Lord;

ROMANS 3:21-30 ©

My Soul's Beloved,

There are Three distinct Persons but only one God - God the Father who is our Creator, God the Son who is our Redeemer, and God the Holy Spirit who is our Sanctifier. There is only one God there is no other and God, who created us out of nothing, appointed You, His only Son, to redeem both Jews and Gentiles alike. The Blood of the Lamb is the only means by which we are washed clean of original sin through Baptism. To live in grace is possible only by means of the power of the Holy Spirit - the Sanctifier, the Helper, the Comforter. Unless we are empowered by the Holy Spirit we cannot live a life of grace pleasing to God through the merits that You won for us by Your life, passion, death, and glorious resurrection into heaven.

St. Paul makes it clear that 'Both Jew and pagan sinned and forfeited God’s glory, and both are justified through the free gift of his grace by being redeemed in Christ Jesus.'  The Father justifies all who believe in You, Lord Jesus for apart from You there is neither salvation nor justification. 

No one can boast about anything because all we have and are is God's free gift to us. Created out of nothing, we are destined to possess a glorious inheritance in the Kingdom of God but only if we acknowledge what we believe to be true, that You, Jesus Christ are Lord. People of other faiths may address God by different names but there is only one God and there is only one Way to Him - through You, His Son, in the power of the Holy Spirit.

PSALM 129(130):1-6 ©

Out of the depths I cry to you, O Lord,

Lord, hear my voice!
O let your ears be attentive
to the voice of my pleading.

If you, O Lord, should mark our guilt,

Lord, who would survive?
But with you is found forgiveness:
for this we revere you.

My soul is waiting for the Lord.

I count on his word.
My soul is longing for the Lord
more than watchman for daybreak.

With the Lord there is mercy, and fullness of redemption.

My Soul's Beloved,

The agents and the spawn of Satan are above all cowards as we see in this verse: When he (Jesus) left the house, the scribes and the Pharisees began a furious attack on him and tried to force answers from him on innumerable questions, setting traps to catch him out in something he might say. Their visceral hate for the Truth and for all it stands for fills them with murderous rage. Liars and cowards are unable to have a rational conversation because their sole motive is to destroy all that is true, good, and beautiful. 

Power is head, addictive and those who are drunk on it are prepared to smash the whole world to smithereens without compunction because they are deaf, blind, and dead to all that is noble and worthy of love and emulation.

God sent prophets in the past and continues to do so and the enemies of Truth have gone on a murderous killing spree from the very beginning and continue to do so to this day and so it shall be until You come again in glory and majesty. 

When the pale underbelly of evil, power-hungry, materially obsessed spawns of Satan is exposed all hell breaks loose as we see in today's Gospel passage: 'When he left the house, the scribes and the Pharisees began a furious attack on him and tried to force answers from him on innumerable questions, setting traps to catch him out in something he might say.'  

The day of reckoning is fast approaching, Beloved, stay with us and keep us safe from the wiles of the Enemy.
