DAILY HOLY MASS READINGS

Blessed are those who,
with a noble and generous heart,
take the word of God to themselves
and yield a harvest through their perseverance. LK 8:15

My Soul's Beloved,

You have shown us the Way to the Father and if we model our lives on Your life then with the help of the Holy Spirit whom You have given us we can navigate through this valley of tears and receive the inheritance You have won for us.

You are Truth and we need to live in the Truth that You have revealed. We need to stand up to Truth, witness to it and if necessary die rather than choose that which is temporary and fading instead of the eternal and unchanging.

You O Lord dwell in inaccessible Light that no one while still in the flesh can penetrate. But in due time, Beloved, if we live in the grace of the Holy Spirit and despite the numerous times we fall in a day we rise up and begin anew, You will take us by the hand and You will lead us slowly but surely through all the travails we have to face in this short life on earth to the place that the Father has prepared for us. There O Lord we will share in Your glory that You won for us at so great a price. Thank You, Lord.

PSALM 99(100) ©

Cry out with joy to the Lord, all the earth.
Serve the Lord with gladness.
Come before him, singing for joy.

Know that he, the Lord, is God.
He made us, we belong to him,
we are his people, the sheep of his flock.

Go within his gates, giving thanks.
Enter his courts with songs of praise.
Give thanks to him and bless his name.

Indeed, how good is the Lord,
eternal his merciful love.
He is faithful from age to age.

Come before the Lord, singing for joy.

My Soul's Beloved,

You are the chief Sower and the good seed of Your word is being sown constantly in our lives. Whether we are receptive or not seeds are constantly being sown and depending on our receptivity they will take root in us and bear good fruit.

But we are not always willing to allow the Seed to have its way with us. Grant us the grace we need so we can be receptive to the promptings of the Holy Spirit. Help us Lord lest we perish.

Thank You.
