Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit;
the God who is, who was, and who is to come. REV 1:8
EXODUS 34:4-6,8-9 ©
My Soul's Beloved,
You, O Eternal Word whom the Father has written not on tablets of stone but in our hearts, O Living Word of the Eternal Father, thank You for making Your home in us, making us Your sanctuary through the abiding Presence of the Holy Spirit.
You ascended into heaven and into glory to take Your place at the Father's right hand but not before promising us the Gift of Your Holy Spirit who will lead us into the whole Truth. Moses pleaded with God saying, ‘Lord, Lord, a God of tenderness and compassion, slow to anger, rich in kindness and faithfulness. ‘If I have indeed won your favour, Lord, ‘let my Lord come with us, I beg. True, they are a headstrong people, but forgive us our faults and our sins, and adopt us as your heritage.’ How much more readily will the Father grants all that You ask on our behalf as You plead and make perpetual intercession for us.
Through the power of Your incarnation, passion, death, and glorious resurrection into heaven, making perfect atonement for the sins of the whole world, the prayer of Moses in the Old Testament is made perfect by the New Moses. Not only are we Your heritage, but You have made us a kingdom of priests, a holy nation, children of God, and co-heirs with You in the Kingdom of Heaven. Thank You.
RESPONSORIAL PSALM DANIEL 3:52-56 ©
My Soul's Beloved,
Today, as the Church celebrates the Feast of the Holy Trinity, we praise and thank the Triune God who first spoke through the patriarchs and prophets, then through You, His only Son, and now finally in these last days, through the Holy Spirit whom the Father sent in Your Name to lead us into all the Truth. As the Church celebrates the Feast of the Holy Trinity the entire people of God, together with all the angels and saints in heaven, unite our voices with theirs singing in joyful praise:
You are blest, Lord God of our fathers.
Blest your glorious holy name.
You are blest in the temple of your glory.
You are blest on the throne of your kingdom.
You are blest who gaze into the depths.
Blest your glorious holy name.
You are blest in the temple of your glory.
You are blest on the throne of your kingdom.
You are blest who gaze into the depths.
You are blest in the firmament of heaven.
To you glory and praise for evermore.

My Soul's Beloved,
To you glory and praise for evermore.

My Soul's Beloved,
There is no greater power on earth, no greater force for good in the world than when Christians are one in heart, mind, and spirit, in love with God and with each member of Your Body. Our love becomes more than mere words when it is made visible in service to our neighbor.
There is no law in love because it always seeks the good of the other. When we love God above all and before all then our love for each other is free from self-interest then the words of St. Paul will become a reality and the Kingdom of God will descend among us.
In this valley of tears, when we believe and live God's Word and try to grow perfect; help one another. Be united; live in peace, St. Paul assures us that the God of love and the peace of God will be with us.
Thank You, Lord, for the Liturgy and for the Sacraments celebrated in the Liturgy of the Church You founded wherein we receive continually and immeasurably, Your grace, the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit.
JOHN 3:16-18 ©
My Soul's Beloved,
Today, on the Feast of the Holy Trinity, grant that we pay close attention to the Gospel passage chosen for our reflection at Holy Mass.
John 3:16 is the most famous and the most quoted of all the verses in the Bible and rightly so for it reveals the nature of the Father's love for us, His errant children.
‘God loved the world so much that he gave his only Son,
so that everyone who believes in him may not be lost
but may have eternal life.’
We so readily condemn one another at the slightest pretext. We carry our grudges and the real or perceived wrongs done to us with such determination, clinging to our miserable baggage unwilling to put it down and experience the freedom that comes from forgiving others and ourselves.
While we were yet sinners, God our Father, who desires that not one of His little ones be lost sent You into the world not to condemn us but to save us. God sent You into the world not to condemn us who rightly deserve condemnation and annihilation from the face of the earth, but to save us. You came to redeem fallen mankind who was irredeemable, unforgivable, and deserving of death. Who can fathom the love of God that He would actually give up His only Son to take upon Yourself our death in order that we may receive Your life?
Thank You for loving us Father and for sending Your Son Jesus into the world. Thank You, my Beloved, for the Holy Spirit whom the Father sent in Your Name who leads us into the whole Truth. Amen.
‘For God sent his Son into the world
not to condemn the world,
but so that through him the world might be saved.
No one who believes in him will be condemned;
but whoever refuses to believe is condemned already,
because he has refused to believe in the name of God’s only Son.’
but so that through him the world might be saved.
No one who believes in him will be condemned;
but whoever refuses to believe is condemned already,
because he has refused to believe in the name of God’s only Son.’
