My Soul's Beloved,

Unless the world undergoes a chastisement we will continue to rush headlong to eternal damnation. Evil has seeped into every area of our lives from the greatest to the least. It has taken over whole nations. Satan seems to have his day. Life has lost all meaning. Truth is no longer irrefutable but twisted so hideously that it is no longer recognizable. Life is no longer a gift of the Creator but a commodity to be used, abused, discarded, and destroyed. We are all arbitartors of our own truth and we insist that everyone accepts our version of it or else there will be terrible consequences. 

The Cup of Wrath is bubbling and You will stay Your hand only for so long. The wickedness of the world runs deep and nothing is sacred anymore. The Day of Judgment is almost upon us and we will be responsible for annihilating the world by exchanging good for evil, truth for lies, and life for death.  

Thankfully, we are only caretakers of the earth. The world and all in it is Yours - purchased and redeemed by Your Blood. Evil may have its hour but Truth will have have its triumphant day. The faithful remnant of the Lord will be saved for You will not permit the good to perish with the wicked. You are the shelter and the shade of those who are called by Your Name. Once the the angel of destruction sweeps across the world and rids it of its fetid miasma goodness, beauty, and truth will flourish once again. God will visit His people anew and renew the face of the earth.

When that day comes,

the mountains will run with new wine
and the hills flow with milk,
and all the river beds of Judah
will run with water.
A fountain will spring from the house of the Lord
to water the wadi of Acacias.

My Soul's Beloved,

It is easy to get discouraged and frustrated when we see the evil that abounds in every strata of society. The taint of sin and death is visible all around us. The limitless hunger and greed for wealth, power and control is blatantly evident yet the world seems a mute spectator as they begin perceive dimly the final outcome which is subjugation of the free will of people. 

But those who are called by Your Name, those who know You, those who have fellowship with You, who are members of Your Body and belong to You have no need to fear, be anxious, or troubled. Truth by its nature is invincible. You O Lord are Truth consecrate us in the Truth.

We know that no matter how dark the night gets the dawn will arrive. No matter how fiercely evil battles for control of the world and its people the victory has already been won on the Cross. The battle cry has sounded and You will come in glory and majesty to claim all that is rightfully Yours and purchased by Your Blood.

The Lord is king, let earth rejoice,

let all the coastlands be glad.
Cloud and darkness are his raiment;
his throne, justice and right.

Light shines forth for the just
and joy for the upright of heart.
Rejoice, you just, in the Lord;
give glory to his holy name.

My Soul's Beloved,

All those who have a spiritually lazy eye misconstrue what You said in response to the woman in the crowd who raised her voice and said, ‘Happy the womb that bore you and the breasts you sucked!’ What she said is true, for Mary, Your Mother,  herself praising God in the Magnificat said, 

My soul magnifies the Lord

And my spirit rejoices in God my Savior;

Because He has regarded the lowliness of His handmaid;

For behold, henceforth all generations shall call me blessed;

Because He who is mighty has done great things for me,

and holy is His name.

God has exalted Mary high above all the angels and saints and while we are on earth it will be well for us to emulate her example and be as joyous and happy as she was for no one has ever heard the Word of God and kept it more perfectly than she did.
