My Soul's Beloved,

We are called to pray for one another, support each other, live together in love as a family for we are brothers and sisters who are privileged to have God as our Father because we are members of Your Body.

We are reminded today that God will give us perfect wisdom and spiritual understanding if we ask Him to, for He desires us to know and love Him and this is possible if we immerse ourselves in His Word. We can know the mind and heart of God when we allow His Word to find a home in us.

When we know the will of God and desire to live it our lives will be conformed to the Holy Spirit as we allow God's Word to dictate and direct our every thought, word, and action. The more we know the Word the more will we have clarity on God's will for us, and the more we yield to His will the more will we possess inner joy and peace.

Faith in Your Word empowers us to face every difficulty, hardship, and sorrow. The cross will become easier to bear when we submit and yield to Your will in all things, knowing that You work all things for the good of those who love You.

Thank You for granting us the grace and the gift of being children of the light and co-heirs with You to the Kingdom:

Because that is what he has done: he has taken us out of the power of darkness and created a place for us in the kingdom of the Son that he loves, and in him, we gain our freedom, the forgiveness of our sins.

PSALM 98:2-6 ©

My Soul's Beloved,

The Cross is the sign of triumph and victory. Death and sin have been conquered and You have won the salvation of the world. Love is stronger than death for it has no power over the love of God made flesh in His Word.

The Cross is the sign of our salvation. On it, Your bloodied Body was impaled. On the Cross on Calvary, You drew upon Yourself all the horrors of our wickedness, our evil, our hellish sins that made us deserving of eternal death, and You drank to its bitter dregs the wrath and punishment of God from the Cup of Salvation, and rendered us innocent before the Father.

This is why the whole world shouts with joy and our hearts are full of gratitude, worship, praise, and thanksgiving for the King of Kings, the Lord of Lord, the Savior of the world, who snatched us from jaws of death and rescued us from the fires of hell.

My Soul's Beloved,

You see me, You single me out, You ask to get into the boat of my life, and I have yielded to Your request. You will now direct my life with Your Word and Your will. From this heart in which You are now enthroned You desire to teach through me all who are pressing around You to hear Your Word of Life and Truth so their lives may be illumined and healed by the message of light.

When You ask me to put out into the deep and cast my net for a catch, do not allow my fears to overwhelm me, do not permit my doubts to cash a shadow over me, rather, let me go forth with confidence knowing that You are with me and You will bless all I do with success.

Very often Beloved, I not only lack the willingness, the courage, the strength, but I am doubtful even before I begin to put Your Word into action. Like Simon, I say, "Master, we worked hard all night long and caught nothing, but if you say so, I will pay out the nets." And every time I obey You will astound me by Your power and I will marvel at the works of Your hand.

You have extended an invitation to me to follow You grant that I permit nothing to hold me back but gladly leave everything to follow You and do all You ask of me, promptly, gladly, and willingly. Amen.
