I am the Way, the Truth and the Life, says the Lord;
No one can come to the Father except through me. JN 14:6

My Soul's Beloved,

There is no way for Christians to be happy except by living holy, pure, and blameless lives and this is possible when we are firmly rooted in You. The only way we can stand firm in the face of evil is by not drifting away from our faith which has the power to save.

When our faith is weak we lack hope and our fears overwhelm us and we are powerless. We are strong, we persevere, we are invincible when we place all our hope and faith in You, and our thoughts, words, and deeds are directed by Your Word, which is the Good News that saves the whole world.

As disciples, as Christians, we are Your ambassadors and we are commissioned to announce the Good News by the witness of our lives.

PSALM 54:3-4,6,8 ©

My Soul's Beloved,

Today we are reminded that God is our help. If God is my helper of whom shall I be afraid? If God is the Lord of my life, my stronghold, and my deliverer, no weapon forged against me by the Enemy will succeed.

We are called by the Name that is above all names. We are members of the Body of the One whose Name is above all names. It is You, O Lord, who fight our battles for us. It is You who cover us with Your most holy and precious blood, it is You who send Your Holy Spirit to empower us with His gifts, and with God, on our side, we are more than conquerors.

You hear every prayer before it is formed by my lips. You hear every sigh. You are attentive to all my supplications because I am yours, my Lord and You are mine.

What return can I make to You, O Lord, for saving me, for delivering me, for making me a child of God, and co-heir with You to the Kingdom of heaven? Grant me the grace always and everywhere to make You known and loved by my witness to You who are the Way, Truth, and the Life, and without whom no one is saved.

My Soul's Beloved,

'Love God and do whatever you please,'
is a quote attributed to one of the great heroes of our faith, St. Augustine.
You, my Lord, the Son of Man are master of the sabbath, and when we follow You closely, conform our lives to the Gospel, are truly the light and the salt of the world then every word that comes out of our mouth, every thought in our minds, then it will be impossible for us to anything that will displease You for all that we say and do will be the fruit of love.

As Your disciples, we are compelled by no law but the law of love. The needs of our brothers and sisters, the good of our brothers and sisters, the salvation of our brothers and sisters, must be placed above and before any man-made laws, traditions, and cultural norms. For Christians, the law of love supersedes all laws.
