It would have been a wondrous thing to behold when all of the children of Israel left Egypt. We do not know for certain the exact numbers but we do know that they left in haste taking all they could carry with them. A very special mention is made of the fact that they had baked cakes with unleavened dough hurriedly and this was all the food they carried for they had no time to provide themselves with food for the journey. This is a very significant detail pointing to the Eucharist and is a foreshadowing of the Bread of Angels that God Himself would provide for us as food for our journey from this life to the life that is to come.
To know You is to understand in the very marrow of our bones this eternal truth, You love is great and it is unending.

Satan and his minions never sleep but like a roaring lion, they prowl night and day seeking to devour sinners. The envy of the devil feeds his hate for us who are redeemed by Your most Precious Blood. Those who control the narrative that is imposed so viciously in our present culture are no different from the Pharisees who plotted to destroy You. Vested interests portray Truth as the enemy and the masses are easily manipulated through ignorance.
Before that blessed hour of our salvation would arrive when You would yield in perfect submission like a lamb led to the slaughter, You would continue to do touch, heal, bless, forgive, make whole, and manifest the Face of the God of love to all who approached You.

The Israelites had spent four hundred and thirty years as slaves in exile in a foreign land before God brought them out from bondage into freedom. It is a reminder to us all that no matter how long we have lived in slavery and bondage to sin we can be delivered by You in an instant. You alone have the power to deliver us from the power of evil and make us children of God and heirs to the Kingdom.

My Soul's Beloved,
The reason why all who believe in You trust You is that we know that no matter how strong the winds, how high the waves, and how terrifyingly the boat is being tossed around, You are with us through it all. The more we cling to You the more we are confident that You never fail.
This is the reason we give You thanks with every breath we breathe, every waking moment, and even as we sleep at night, our spirit continues to praise and thank You until we wake up and take up our praise of You anew.
We are always before You, Your mighty protection prevents the foe from snatching us from You, You are near when we call, You keep us safe and secure and You will bring us at last to the place that God has prepared for us when He laid the foundations of the world. Thank You!

You withdrew from dangerous territories that were becoming hostile to You and the crowds continued to follow You wherever You went. You healed them all but also warned them not to make You known because Your hour had not come.

The prophecy of Isaiah is a sweet balm to the sinner for it reveals the true nature of our compassionate, loving, and merciful God, Lord, and Savior.
