My Love, Beloved of my soul,
How good and gracious You are. Truly, You are slow to anger and Your mercy is everlasting. No matter how grave our sins, not matter that we do deserve Your just wrath to burn against us, yet Your great love compels You to show us compassion.
As long as I am alive I can repent of my sins and I can resolve with Your help to sin no more. You will always make haste to come to my aid and help me overcome my weaknesses, my concupiscence to sin.
Thank You, Father, for sending Your Son into the world. Now through Him, in His Name, and bathed in His Blood, we dare to approach You in the highest heavens confident that You will not deny us salvation for His Sake.
God has come among His people. He has become one like us and has made His dwelling place among us.
Thank You, Lord.

My Love, Beloved of my soul,
Psalm 102:16-21, 29, 22-23
My Love, Beloved of my soul,
Truly God has come among His people for You are Emmanuel God with us. You dwell in our midst. You walk with us, You reign in us. We receive Your Body and Your Blood and we are united to You in an intimacy that is not possible for anyone who does not partake of this Sacrament of Love. The Sacrament of Sacraments, the Holy Eucharist.
This is why the Father will always hear our prayers for we have believed in Your Name, the Name of His only Beloved Son. He knows we are weak, He has pity on His sinful children, this is why He gave us a Savior who would free us from the chains of sin that have for so long ensnared us.
Thank You, Father, for Your unfathomable and eternal love for Your sons and daughters formed from the dust of the earth, and for raising us up through the merits of Your Son to become Your adopted children who have a share in His glorious inheritance, the Kingdom of God.
Matthew 14:22-36
My Love, Beloved of my soul,
Every one of Your disciples is invited to get into the Bark of St. Peter. The Apostles have been entrusted with the mission of getting Your Church safely to shore. But they, like us, are sinners and prone to sin. When attacked by evil, some of them succumb and the boat appears to be in grave peril of being capsized. However, we must never forget that no matter how black things look, we have Your promise that You have triumphed and with You, Your Church. You have promised to be with her until time is no more.
No matter how black things look for Your Church at different times in history You will always come to her aid and save her. The successors of Peter and the Apostles will always have the power to shine brightly in a world that is darkened by sin. The members of Your Church will always be able to perform great miracles, the greatest being Your power working through them in the Sacraments.
In Your Church, we worship You in the fullness of faith and in truth. She is a refuge for sinners and all who come to her will be healed for You abide in her and work in and through her always.
