Deuteronomy 4:1, 5-9, Psalm 147:12-13, 15-16, 19-20, Matthew 5:17-19

Deuteronomy 4:1, 5-9

Deal Love, Beloved of my soul,

You have called me just as You called the chosen people of Israel from all the nations to belong to You in a Covenental love. You have seen my nakedness, my nothingness and You have made me Your own possession. You have raised me up.You have given me a place of honor and You fill with everything good.

For my part, I must listen to Your commandments and keep them. I must love You with all my heart, all my soul, all my strength and I must love my neighbour as myself. I am called to a transcendent love in imitation of Your love. I am called to a heroic love every day choosing life over death, good over my natural selfish inclinations.

There is no God but You O Lord and before You this day I yield my whole being diving You all that goes to make your poor little nothing who she is. Take all of me Beloved and in return, although it is a poor and miserable exchange, give me all of Yourself. Thank You not only for claiming me for Yourself but for Your promise to remain with my children and their children as well so we will all be saved and come to the knowledge of Truth. Truth that sets us free to be God own possession and inheritance.

Psalm 147:12-13, 15-16, 19-20

Dear Love, Beloved of my soul,

Truly I must praise You with every breath I breath for You are worthy to receive all praise. Not only have You blessed me but You have placed Your mighty hand of blessing over my children and all I love. Thank You for hearing and answering my prayers for all I bring before You each day.

The Father has sent You the Eternal Word and His only Beloved Son to be our food and drink. You are the Wisdom of God and through the power of the Holy Spirit Wisdom comes down from heaven to dwell in us. What God has done for us who believe He has done for the whole world if they choose to believe. Make me an effective witness Beloved to the Kingdom of God.

Matthew 5:17-19

Dear Love, Beloved of my soul,

God gave us the Law through Moses, and You summarized the Law encapsulating them into two; Love for God above and before all and love for neighbour to the degree that I love myself. All that the entire law and the prophets teach are kept when we obey these two.

All that Scripture prophesied You fulfilled. You assure us that You did not come to do away with the Law for it is the law that reveals to us the kinds of sin that are abhorrent to God. Therefore the Law must be kept not out of fear but out of love for Him and our brothers and sisters. Disobedience to the Law; kills obedience to Your Word brings life. We are called not only to keep the law ourselves but encourage others to do so as well, beginning with those within the circle of our influence. You assure us that if we do so we will be counted as belonging to God and to His Kingdom.
